Moderne gemütliche Unterkunft in guter Lage in Ella
Pros:

Sehr schöne moderne Unterkunft mit tollen Badezimmer. Die Lage hat für uns gut gepasst, man konnte zu Fuß nach Ella reinlaufen und auch die umliegenden Wanderungen theoretisch alle zu Fuß erreichen. Die Terrasse war sehr gemütlich mit Sofa und wir haben es sehr genossen dort ein paar Stunde zu entspannen mit Blick auf die Berge. Ganz liebe Hosts die sehr bemühtet und gastfreundlich sind. Wir haben jederzeit bei Bedarf Unterstützung bekommen und konnten immer nachfragen, selbst zu unseren Reiseplanungen rund um Ella. Es gab auch tolle Tipps zu guten Viewpoints die klasse waren.

Personal súper agradable, habitación limpia y cama súper grande y cómoda con aire acondicionado.

Hay una gran rampa para subir al hotel que a no ser que se haga en tuktuk los coches no pueden subir.

La struttura si trova vicino al centro ma comunque in una via silenziosa, la camera è bella e nuova ed il personale gentile e accogliente. Incroyable hôtel à Ella
Pros:

Je peux facilement dire que c’était le meilleur hôtel que nous avons eu au Sri Lanka ! L’hôtel est extrêmement bien situé, tout se fait à pied. L’hôtel était très propre. Le gérant de l’hôtel est très gentil et de très bon conseil.

Pros:

La camera era bella e abbastanza pulita secondo gli standard qui. Ti portano la colazione nel tuo balconcino ed è molto varia. Il personale è super disponibile. E per arrivare al centro di ella ci impieghi 10’ a piedi

Perfecte leuke gezellige plek bij hardwerkende familie
Pros:

Fantastische plek vlakbij de drukte van het centrum maar toch rustig. Hele mooie kamers met klein terrasje. Alles nieuw, schoon en gezellige inrichting. Overal is aan gedacht, mooie verlichting, kastruimte, fijne badkamers en zelfs een bankje op het terras. Fijne bedden, goede airco, lekkere handdoeken. Lieve hardwerkende familie die er alles aan doet om je te helpen en het naar de zin te maken. Vervoer kunnen ze ook regelen. Omdat ze een herdenking hadden van overleden oma werden we uitgenodigd mee te lunchen met de familie. Kinderen kregen ijs aangeboden. Echt een aanrader voor een paar daagjes Ella. Mooi uitzicht en dichtbij alle bezienswaardigheden.

Hebben het heel erg leuk gehad, Ela is ook gewoon een leuk stadje

Locatie was goed, net buiten het centrum dus erg rustig, de eigenaar was ook heel behulpzaam en kon makelijk
in heel Sri Lanka vervoer voor je regelen.

A very helpful host - he gave us many recommendations and tuk-tuk transport whenever we needed.
Very good, various traditional breakfasts prepared by the host (also breakfast to-go if needed for early trips!)
Very nice view of the Ella Rock from a terrace. Rooms are nice, bathroom is clean. There is a fridge in the room.
The host also offers a laundry service in a good price.

Cons:

There is no Air conditioning, only fans, but this is fine in that climate.
A little mold on the ceiling, but this is due to the general climate of Ella.
The accomodation is quite close to the main road, but last meters are quite steeply uphill, which may be challenging with bigger-sized bags.
Some insects in the room, but they are not a threat, especially since there is a mosquito net over the bed.
Payment only by cash!

Pros:

Le personnel était très serviable et accommodant, il nous a fournir des parapluies, et le logement disposait d’un mini-frigo très pratique pour garder les boissons au frais malgré la chaleur.

Cons:

Aucune fenêtre pour aérer la chambre, seulement une VMC dans la salle de bain. La pièce sentait fortement l’humidité : le papier toilette était toujours humide et les serviettes ne séchaient pas. Un ventilateur était bien fourni, mais sans prise disponible — il fallait choisir entre brancher le frigo ou le ventilateur.

La moustiquaire autour du lit était trouée, laissant entrer les insectes. Les murs et le plafond présentaient des traces de moisissure visiblement recouvertes de peinture. En deux jours, nous avons même vu trois limaces se promener sur les murs de la chambre.

On nous a affirmé qu’il n’y avait pas de climatisation car aucun hébergement du quartier n’en disposait, ce qui est faux : tous les logements de la rue en étaient équipés, souvent avec plusieurs unités.

Enfin, au moment du paiement, on nous a indiqué qu’il fallait régler en espèces. Après notre refus, une machine pour paiement par carte bancaire a finalement été trouvée.
