Ac broke down twice in the middle of night..disrupted my sleeping for 2 days..
Good location 2 mins walk from the beach and shops and restaurants are next door. Big comfortable bed with good AC. Big clean bathroom very nice staff.
The price is ultra competitive. Staff is very responsive and helped me find some stuff I needed in town
Their restaurant/bar os possibly the most popular place in the area and they play loud music well into the night. If sound stops you from sleeping, stat clear

This hotel 198 is the best hotel in negambo i stayed so far and this is our 4th time stay in 198 hotel ,the room are very clean , comfortable and having all facilities aslo there is Machan restaurant and bar in hotel and any time can get deliverd food to room, also they they continental breakfast is very good and delicious ,,Everything are very good,

We are a family of five and had two rooms in an apartment together. Very clean facilities with a kitchen and hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful in booking us transport.
Room was nice, staff friendly.
