The staff at Tsukimi are genuinely welcoming and authentically kind hearted! They create an atmosphere that allows you to make friends with the staff and guests and get the most out of your stay with local knowledge of recommendations. The team treat you so well and are willing to help with any questions. They work very hard to keep the facilities super clean so your stay is comfortable. Stunning views from the rooftop space and good location to get public transport to see all the attractions. There is also a humble bar and cafe on the floor level where you can order a beverage to take up to the rooftop

It was wonderful to return to the Tsukimi Hotel. I rarely stay at the same place twice, but here it feels like coming home.

All the staff and long-stay guests are so friendly and helpful. I enjoyed chatting with everyone. Although my Japanese is very limited, we could still talk freely in English. They really make everyone feel welcome.

All the facilities are clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff and managers are always coming up with new ideas to improve the guest experience. The location is great, too.

I highly recommend this hotel.

Extremely convenient location in the heart of Gion District, perfect for those attending Gion Matsuri! Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Clean, new towels every day (very rare in Japan), perfect location for sightseeing , modern and comfortable, ventilation in the pods, very friendly staff with fluent English, overall one of my best experiences ever with this type of accomodations .

The staff, the location and cleanliness/minimalist design

The staff was really nice and accommodating. Shout-out to Ryo-san and Kanami-san, who hosted a fun event and made the experience very fun. I was iffy on capsule hotels, but my experience at Tsukimi makes me want to go back.

청수사에서 상당히 가까운 위치에 있는게 장점입니다. 조금 걸어 내려가면 기온마치, 카와라마치쪽으로도 갈 수 있어요.
몇분 거리에 있는 프레스코도 애용했습니다. 매일 새 수건셋트를 주며, 시설 청결함도 좋습니다. 결정적으로 스텝분들이 상당히 친절하시고, 제가 외국어가 안되서 어려워했지만, 그럼에도 최대한 챙겨주는 모습들이 보여서 좋았습니다.
당시 월드컵 한국 경기가 있었는데, 볼 수 있도록 안내도 해주시고, 배려해주셨어요. 가져갔던 접이식 자전거를 실내 보관할 수 있도록 해주신 점도 감사했습니다.

Lovely staff and amazing location.

It was affordable for a solo traveler and I didn’t have to worry about my luggage while I was out.

Equipe do hotel muito legal. Espaço compartilhado bom. Cama confortável. Primeira vez que fiquei em um hotel cápsula e foi muito bom, o quarto quando fechado abafa bem o som externo. Os banheiros são limpos. Deixaram minhas malas ficarem na recepção antes do check in e depois do check out.

システム的に効率の良さを感じました。接客も良かったです。白を基調とした作りで気持ちよかったです。

I stayed here for 5 days and was very happy with my experience. The most important thing for me was the staff. Everyone was very kind, friendly and helpful. I would like to thank each one of them. Kanami, I miss you and all the others. 🩵

The location was great and everything in the hotel was very clean. The bed area was spacious and comfortable. There was a locker in the room where you could keep your belongings safely. There was also enough space in the room for your suitcase.

The bathroom and common areas were spacious, clean and well maintained. Clean towels were placed next to your bed every day.

The lounge area on the ground floor was very comfortable. I also recommend going up to the rooftop. You can enjoy beautiful views of the area both during the day and at night.

If visit Kyoto again, l will definitely stay here again.
