Lighting in the room was minimal
The midtown location is centrally located which is nice since it's relatively close to everything.
I didn’t like that it wasn’t disclosed upfront that an incidentals deposit was required and they will not let you check in if not paid despite the room being booked and paid for. Also, the front desk person lied about contacting the manager but was happy to call security and not truly try to be helpful.

The rooms are somewhat cute.
There are extremely misleading signs stating to bring your parking ticket to the front desk. It strongly implies it will be validated. I brought it only to find out that is not the case. It cost me $40 additional to park. Or I was to pay $55 for in and out service. I was going to get some cold drinks from the gas station in the morning and come back to sleep more. But ultimately decided to leave early. My one night stay was not cheap. I received horrible service when I had lunch at the restaurant in the hotel. I was there to celebrate my birthday and ate at a nice restaurant in the highlands. I was very excited about my meal and had leftovers I very much would have liked to keep. But there was no fridge in the room. So my leftovers inevitably wound up in the trash as it had spoiled. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was unapologetic about the parking fee and were even smug about telling me that there was nothing they could do.

Booked one night and paid in advance thru Booking.com.
Was charged again for the one nights stay upon check out May 23, 2026.
Front desk said they would reimburse me. One month later, they have not.
I called today, June 26, 2026 and spoke to two people. The second person put me on hold for 10 minutes and I finally hung up.
***I would highly advise from staying away from this particular hotel in midtown. They do not have an accounting department to speak with so you are speaking with the front desk only and apparently they can't handle invoicing.
My career is making hotel reservations around the world and I have never seen a business practice work like this.
The hotel was clean and cute . Location was great . The rooftop was great BUT … they rented it out to a private party and guests did not have access to.
I booked for my bday weekend because of the rooftop pool and bar, Saturday around 3 we were told we had to leave due to a private event. They then said we could stay only in the pool area . After the guests for the event arrived we were not allowed even back to the pool area .
Also was told they would have a aDJ at 9 which was another reason I booked . There was no Dj . Until around 11
The location and the modern, hip vibe make this hotel pleasantly unique.
The parking was a bit pricey and there are several vacant lots around the hotel that are eye sores.
