Peace Land Khaosan

I recently stayed at Paceland Hotel with my family and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel location is ideal, just a short walk from the Khaosan Road and close to many of Bangkok’s key attractions. The facilities were excellent and impeccably clean (perhaps rooms could do with a paint), making for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The pool was a great place to relax after a day of exploring. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to enjoy the lively atmosphere of Khaosan Road while having a peaceful retreat to return to.

The property is located in a highly secluded location away from the main thoroughfare, however, if you are seeking a peaceful and unencumbered location away from the bustling area, this may be a suitable option. The property is extremely cozy and delightful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

When i arrived the workers treated me really well and got me into my room quickly, my room was clean and had comfy beds. The breakfast was so delicious and had a lot of options. As well as this, the pool was great. It was big and very well maintained. I would definitely come back here as it’s the best hotel I’ve stayed in Bangkok.

The staff are all rude the only nice one was the maintenance man. The breakfast was BAD. When we checked in the staff didn’t even explain when and where breakfast was absolutely nothing about the hotel or anything. We asked for directions to buy supplies and the rude lady gave us dodgy directions and said a 10 minute walk when it was more than 1/2 an hour. The rooms need to be updated ie: aircon need maintenance done the fridge wasn’t cold and didn’t keep our stuff cold. The location is not that great miles away from everything. We paid for a suite room and we open the curtains to look at a slumpy building. Overall we would not recommend anyone stays here.

The location it’s good if you must catch a bus to the Islands in Trat. Mostly they depart from around Khao San Road. I had a bedroom suite facing the street and on the 2nd floor… it was too noisy because they have a kind of Chinese dragon school just outside the hotel.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The Banglamphu area is quiet and has great food and services.

We should have believed the negative reviews on here because they are all true. We stayed one night and left. The place is more like a back packers hostel than a hotel. The whole hotel is decrepit and has marks on walls, door etc. The pool is tiny and looked unclean the kids pool is 1m squared and like a jail. And had backpackers in there.

No welcome drink, no help with bags. The elevator is so small and old. There is absolutely nothing around to eat. The hotel had no restaurant so we went hungry which is ok for us but not cool for my child.

I’m ok with 3rd world but there are people sleeping in the food carts outside the abandoned building. The noise all night was enough to wake the dead. There are roosters everywhere on the streets calling out at 2am.

There was a storm and it felt like the windows were crashing and not to mention unsafe for children because they can easily fall out.

The staff didn’t seem bothered as to why we were leaving. I guess why would they when they already had our money.

Ohhhh and let’s not forget the cash they want as a security deposit. And if like us you don’t have that on you, they want your passport.

Shame on booking.com and trip advisor for promoting such false advertising.

There really should be at least 6 monthly audits on hotels they promote to ensure that the photos match real life because this is the second hotel I have been duped on this trip.

Family room was nice, big and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very satisfying. Pool rather small. Location was unusual, right across what appeared to be low-cost apartments and a couple of homeless shelters but generally quiet, and kinda away from city center. The first hotel in all my travels that actually provided weigh scale for your luggage!

Stayed here for the Songkran 2023.

I love the hotel itself! Looks very simple but the room, amenities and staff made me wanna go back here soon!

It isnt really near where the festival is but a 20 min walk isnt bad. This also gives you a quiet time away from the noise of the festival itself.

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of May. Room and bathroom were clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of space for two. Large, comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and great to set us up for the day. The pool was lovely to go back to after being in the heat.

The only trouble we have was sometimes the tuk tuk drivers struggled to find the location, even with the little map they have at reception. However, most knew the temple that was just round the corner so it was sometimes easier to direct them to that.

"Khaosan" im Namen ist schon gewagt: Bis zur Khosan Road läuft man schon noch min. 1km.
Das Hotel ist gut und einfach, ein wenig Hostelcharakter.
Die Matratzen sind grottig: Berg & Tal. Klimaanlage funktioniert gut und leise.
Frühstück ist sehr gut. Personal superfreundlich.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but clean, comfortable beds. Aircon kept room cool.

Hotel is a little hard to find, even locals had trouble finding it.

The pool is lovely, small area to relax.

Disappointed bar area was not open when we stayed and couldn’t get drinks, tea or coffee.

Breakfast was delicious - amazing scrambled egg.

Would stay again.

Da vi kom til hotellet tænkte vi, er vi sikre på at vi vil bo i dette kvarter. Det viste sig at være ok, men vi havde ikke lyst til at gå af de små gader om aftenen.
Hotellet var ok, poolen var dejlig. Der blev ikke gjort tilpas opmærksom på at vi skulle gøre noget aktivt for at få rengjort værelset.
Hotellet skaffede transport videre, det var en oplevelse som jeg godt kunne have været foruden. En chauffør der kørte elastikkørsel hele vejen, samt brugte son mobil så at sige hele tiden.

Pokój rodzinny ( 2 sypialnie) bardzo wygodny. Jednak dużą niedogodnością były okna wychodzące na ulicę i całonocna, głośna impreza na tej ulicy.

We liked the location of the hotel. The presence of parking, as rented a car, it was necessary. Also liked the availability of a pool.

香さんと言う名前がついていますが、カオサン通りから少し離れている住宅街の中にあります。それだけにむしろ落ち着いた雰囲気で、夜も静かに過ごすことができます。

Obligé d'indiquer sur sa porte que vous voulez que l'on vous fasse la chambre... Ce qui n'est pas très grave fallait juste comprendre le système. Si non très bien placé.. Manque de sucrée sur le p'tit dèj.. Si non personnels très bien.

Personnel tres sympatique, bon petit dejeuner, bien situe, belle petite piscine bien entretenue.

Due to corona virus my airline refunded the NONREFUNDABLE tickets . I asked the same due to pandemic situation from this hotel . They flatly refused to cancel reservation charged me full price. It who’d have been nice to Atleast give some compensation? They took full money and just said sorry. Surely will not book this hotel ever or even recommend anyone to stay here .
