Silver Boutique Hotel

There is a huge problem accessing this accommodation. Firstly it's not a hotel as such but several rooms in a residential block. Outside there is no mention of the hotel name only SB Panzio. I received no instructions from Hotels.com how to enter the building. There is no reception, only a telephone number. As a tourist I could not understand the message and had to ask a local passer by to explain it to me. It took another 30 minutes before he showed up with the key. The contact details Hotels.com gave me were also incorrect. Several residents in the building told me they often see frustrated guests who have no idea what to do. Once inside the room it was fine, clean and comfortable.

Good solution for a long weekend in Budapest. Transportation easy to access and good starting point for walks as well

I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel, Little hard to find once on their road as there is only a small sign. Theres 6 steps at end of entrance hall then there is a lift to the first floor where the hotel is. My room was very clean and had everything I could need. The bed was comfotable and the shower was a good size with more than enough room. The staff except one were very friendly and helpful escpecally the young guy. The hotel is also in a perfect location with a metro station in the square by the hotel as well as a market hall selling good local food cheaper than the grand market hall in the centre. And for breakfast I reccomend Csiga cafe across the square from the hotel cheaper than the hotel and hot cooked breakfasts they also do delicious dinners as well. The nearby market hall has great cake as you enter go straight and turn left for amazing fresh Lángos go to the very back right of the market hall.

There is not reception so you have to keep calling them, I was told when I leave check out is 10am and there is no where to leave luggage, there are some lockers away from this place....really not convenient at all..

No tea coffee breakfast, rooms are too close to each other...

Very serviceminded receptionist! She went out of her way to help with parking, which was a HUGE issue!

The room were still not cleaned at check-in time, so I had to wait approx 30 mins.

Nice room, pretty firm bed, but I like it that way. Quiet room, although it faced the street.

Metro station literally outside the entrance, in a nice park, and with a huge market hall as a neighbor.

Hotel is central, but best suited for those who are not dependent on parking larger cars.

Huge parking house right outside the door for normal cars. (Underground, so no problem with heat and sun!)

Only a small sign in the entrance reveals that this is a hotel, may be difficult to spot!

The building is worn down, but the hotel is tastefully renovated.

Very hard to find, the entrance is some apartment beside a convenient store and the hotel is on the 2nd floor. Staff showed up 15min late to greet us at the door despite us giving them 2 calls the day before and the day of our arrival to let them know our time of arrival. No front desk staff so they cant hold luggage, and no room cleaning even though we were staying multiple days.

Lovely hotel, very clean. Great location. Bed are a little hard though and no storage facility for luggage after checking out

Excellent location, right by the M4 station and a few meters from the 4/6 tram line.
The hotel is basically a floor in an apartment building, it’s not a huge enterprise and I have to say that it is more of an advantage. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming, I was offered to have tea/coffee free of charge at the breakfast facility.
The room was sparkling clean and nice, with an AC already on (such a relief after +36 outdoors).
I only spent 1 night at the place but I was able to leave my luggage free of charge until the evening of the day of departure. All in all I’m very satisfied with my stay.

The only thing coming across my mind that I would improve is the soundproof of the doors.

The rooms were very well decorated with a comfortable bed, nice linen and very good fixtures and fittings. Great water pressure at 0600 was nearly bowled over when I tried the shower. Overall I would say excellent place. Only downside was parking the car - very expensive and virtually no parking on the nearby streets. The parking situation was complicated by 2 different times being used. Granted the language barrier probably added to the confusion. I would recommend this place anytime.

This place was lovely - the decoration is great, it is very clean, and I had no trouble finding it.

This is not a tourist district, so you'll like it if you want to feel a sense of local life. The downside of this is that it is not super convenient for the tourist attractions. Although it is directly on a subway stop - the line it is on is not useful (i didn't use it at all) it was better to walk 10 or 15 minutes to other lines. This wasn't an issue really, but good to know. For the price, it is excellent value.

The real reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is that the wifi lets it down. I had a total wifi blackout on Saturday night for several hours. Thank goodness for Starbucks - there are many around city centre.

Hotel un po' nascosto, al primo piano di un normale palazzo, senza insegna, ma dentro è completamente ristrutturato.
Ambiente silenzioso, personale cordiale e disponibile.
Ambiente piccolo per la colazione e con poca scelta.
Un neo: perché rifare le stanze una volta alla settimana?

I loooved this room. It's how a room would look if I decorated it. Very chic, clean lines, lots of mirrors and a closet with a decent amount of space. The price was very reasonable. There were great restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

The staff was very nice and super helpful.

The location was ok for the price. The train/tube was less than a half a block away. The bus and tram to city center were at the end of the block. However, most tourist attractions were about a 15-20 minute bus ride away. Not terrible by any means but if you like to be in a more tourist friendly area- this isn't it.

Also, the hotel occupies a floor in a commercial building. So the hotel doesn't control the common areas. At night, there are no lights in the hallway/ common area of the building. It's actually pretty creepy trying to make your way in the dark from the main level to the level the hotel is actually located on. I complained about it to the front desk but nothing changed as I am not sure they have the power to change this.

Outside of that, I loved the hotel and would recommend it to those who are a bit more adventurous and are ok living outside of the tourist trap.

Although it was a little difficult to find, this hotel is absolutely stunning and remarkably clean. The staff are welcoming and always make the effort to greet you and are willing to help everytime we entered and exited the hotel. The hotel is currently being renovated so there is no light up the stairs to the hotel but this was not enough for us to be put off considering all the benefits of staying here. Beds are unbelievably comfy and rooms are a nice enough size to enjoy without any complaints. Could not recommend this place enough, stunning!

While the building is being renovated, the reception and rooms are on the second floor (no elevator). The rooms and bathrooms are modern, air conditioned and spotlessly clean. The beds are good and the area is quiet. Optional continental breakfast is available at 5 Euro and is excellent. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip

The hotel was quite difficult to find as there is only a small sign on the door and it's on the side opposite the main road so you don't see it until you walk past it then back on yourself. Then you walk through what looks like a building site and up some stairs to get to the hotel.
The hotel itself was lovely, and the staff could not have been more helpful - you just have to go through a pretty bleak entrance to find it!
