Room was clean and I’ve got everything I need.
My room card was somehow not working in the morning before checkout. It was fixed but not working again.

When I went to check in the staff member wasn't in the mood to talk. I asked what time was breakfast and he replied that the information was in the room. I asked if the social evenings where you get a ticket to drink for free were still ongoing. The staff member said we missed those dates already. The other staff members were great and in good moods to answer questions. Great customer service all around. The first person made me want to rent somewhere else.

For the price charged for this room, you would expect basic amenities such as USB outlets to charge devices. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations.
The room was not properly cleaned. A dirty fork was left behind, which clearly should have been noticed during inspection.
The clock in the room is also missing its 9V battery. Every time the key card is removed and the room loses power, the clock resets completely. This may seem minor, but for travelers it becomes an unnecessary inconvenience.
To me, this reflects a management issue more than a housekeeping issue. If leadership conducted routine quality inspections on even a handful of rooms daily, problems like this would be identified immediately. Small cost-cutting decisions — such as not replacing a simple battery — negatively impact the guest experience.
Additionally, the shower water pressure is extremely weak, making it difficult to properly shower after traveling.
To make matters worse, guests are also charged for parking in Newark, which feels more like a revenue grab than a guest-focused policy.
Overall, this property does not deliver value for the price being charged, and I will not stay at this location again in the future.
Everything was exceptional the property the room, the pool area the gym everything was great. I used to work here. I opened this place with other coworkers before they even opened so I was there to experience that and to be a part of that so I come back to this place every summer in spring and stay with my family for one month or two months
I did not like the fact that before checking out I cleaned the room. I did the dishes so the maid wouldn’t have to do it because I know how hard their job is cause I used to work there and once we checked out at 12 o’clock around five something someone from there tried to charge my car $250 so I called the property and the manager answered and I asked him why was my card trying to be charged for $250 when the room was 264 including that the deposit he goes oh because the room smelled like smoke for one I have my kids there I would never smoke with my kids for secondly I don’t even smoke. I don’t do any type of drugs I recently just had a kidney transplant so I rented this room to get away from the outside world so I could heal and so my kids could swim and just so we could be in a quiet environment. I was really upset and pissed off that he would charge my card without even talking to me so when I asked him, why would he charge my card without following up with me to see what the issue was? He said I am so sorry about this. I am so sorry. The card was declined. It didn’t go through so we’re even we’re OK don’t worry about it. We’re not gonna charge you. I even offered to send in my documents for the kidney transplant like I really don’t understand like I told him I’ve been coming to this hotel for years. I worked there and I’ve never had a problem out of any staff there because they knew me so I’m just still mind blown how he could just take it upon himself and just charge someone’s card $250 without even talking to Them.

I booked a king suite room for the night of my wedding this last Saturday, and I was given two full beds instead.
