The position of the Hotel was excellent able to get where we wanted effortless. A god menu.
The room had nail clippings on the floor and had a strong urine smell in the bathroom , there was no Wi fi the first morning but was also slow throughout our stay. The breakfast was OK but you had to order a cooked breakfast and was very slow the first morning which is hopeless when you have a bus to catch the second morning there was a much nicer person on duty and the breakfast came quicker but had very salty bacon.. The evening meal carvery was run out of ham so only had beef at 7 pm.
Clean, quiet and well placed outside of Edinburgh if you have a car. Decent breakfast. Very nice staff

The breakfast plates were literally covered in old food - the full stack had not been cleaned and put out for breakfast. Revolting.
I will never step foot in a Marston pub or hotel again
It’s in an excellent location on the edge of the leisure park with lots of restaurants and entertainment nearby.
There was black mould around the bath, the shower curtain needed replaced and one of the coffee mugs was dirty.
