Good place to stay in warmer weather.
Pros:

The location was good and the staff were pleasant

Cons:

The room was freezing cold . When I approached the staff member he explained that the heating was only activated when the key card was inserted. It was a dreadful day with torrential rain . zero temperatures and snow o parts of the route. We arrived about 7pm and the room never got warm. The hot water was only lukewarm so couldn't even get a hot shower to warm me up.

Cold.
Pros:

Location is good for transport routes and huge choice of eating options in the evening.
Breakfast was decent, omelettes good.
Recommend eating over the road at Tony Marconi’s.

Cons:

Heating was awful.
Bed wasn’t made to the standards I expect for this kind of accommodation.
Didn’t eat at the marston inn as the only option was carvery as I was told the chef called in sick all week.
Did I mention the heating.
The room was cold.
Oh… and the heating was awful.
To top the heating being awful, the windows were very drafty.

My stay at the Sweet Chestnut Hotel as a disabled guest.
Pros:

As a disabled guest I found access to the hotel and my particular room to be perfect.
I went round the exterior of the premises and found it to be very accessible.

Cons:

The sweet chestnut restaurant doors were wide and accessible but automated access was not available, I found that staff had to leave the bar to hold the front and interior door open for my wheelchair, I would think if the premises was busy, staff would struggle to support wheelchair users.

My room (111) was very accessible, however toilet flushing was bad and often required multiple flushes just to clear toilet paper.
The shower pressure was quite weak and I found it difficult to use, even though the excellent provision of a wet room was a welcome addition.
