The staff was friendly and professional at all times.
Swimming pool
I’m not happy at all !!! Bad bad service. No hand soap. Air condition is terrible .you have to pay when you ask for extra keycard for the room for the AC. I’m been so many hotel in panglao but this is very poor service. The food is to high price. Not happy with the choices of their food. I’m not recommending this hotel.

Roman empire is a very nice hotel with a very frien staff, the filipino food is very good the sigsig and kinilaw were amazing. The pool and restaurant area are very nice and relaxing. Beside the hotel you can catch a trike into Alona beach for a short ride. We had an amazing time and will visit again.
The friendly staff at the hotel really made our trip they were very kind and helpfull. The Roman theme was very unique. And the dinning area by the pool was very relaxing and enjoyable we tried some phillipino food at the restaurant the sigsig was amazing. The tuna kinilaw was also very good i would definitely stay here again.
Restaurant and pool area very nice. Room vas old and not furnished properly, bed sooo uncomfortable. No hot water in bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful
People were out late making noice at the pool right outside our patio and the beds only had sheets for blankets. Other than those two things the stay was excellent. The water pressure was fabulous, bed is comfortable and the place is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The one gentleman flagged down a cab for us.

Too pricey not worth it, no phone inside the room no microwave the door is really hard to open and also in online I pay 400 for breakfast but on there menu its only 285.

Un hôtel charmant et atypique, avec des chambres dotées de terrasses donnant directement sur la piscine, et un personnel très accueillant.
Cependant, quelques aspects pourraient être améliorés : la climatisation est assez bruyante, il n’y a pas d’eau chaude, et l’insonorisation des chambres est limitée, ce qui peut rendre les bruits extérieurs un peu gênants.
Par ailleurs, bien que l’hôtel indique que la plage se trouve à 9 minutes à pied, le trajet est plutôt d’une trentaine de minutes (mais il est facile de trouver un tuktuk pour s’y rendre).

The room was filthy and stinks like sewage.I asked for an extra card which is a standard for every hotel to provide one.theres an extra charges of Php1,000 in order for me to have one.We decided to stay only for a night i couldn’t sleep because of the smell they shouldn’t rate it as a 5 star hotel,no robes, no slippers no phone inside the room ,no safety vaults its like a hostel,until now they haven’t refunded me back with my monies.Avoid this place its not worth it.
We initially booked for 1 night, but after seeing the hotel, we decided to extend for additional 2 nights. My family enjoyed the room with pool access. The place is decent, quiet, and comfortable enough. Good hotel! Wonderful receptionist!

No hot water. Turned it on when requested but turned it off again 2 days later. We were ther for one week stay. Four star hotel does not skip on comfort. Roman Empire could be 4-star.
The place is nice. I won’t recommend the food (pork still have hairs and too hard), but brekafast was fine. Guard needs to be trained not to discriminate customers by its race. He prioritized the foreigners even he was already assisting us. He left us during the heavy rain going to our car service and took the umbrella with him and assisted the foreigners instead .
