This is a great hotel - just needs a few tweaks to be perfect.
Pros:

Great location. Really nice room (A4) with a super comfortable bed. Not huge but perfect for a long weekend.

Bar and common areas are fantastic - and the pool was a big plus on a hot 25C April afternoon.

Cons:

You need to ring a bell to get back into the hotel. It really needs a swipe card or similar system so guests can come and go more easily.

An incident one evening shows that staff training needs to be improved. We were told we could not use the bar due to a private event. The next day we were told that was incorrect and received an apology. Small in the big manner of things but it was enough to downgrade an otherwise 10 rating to a 9.

Would gladly recommend this hotel.
Pros:

Breakfast, location, hospitality of staff. Design and decor of hotel lobby. Room was spacious.

Cons:

My husband's allergy acted up. Could be the dust from the throw pillows.

Pros:

Magnifique hôtel décoré avec beaucoup de soin et de goût. Chambre calme, spacieuse et parfaitement propre. Petit-déjeuner exceptionnel, avec de nombreux produits faits maison.

Wonderful experience!
Pros:

We stayed here for four nights with our two kids and had a wonderful experience. The hotel has a very unique and artistic design, and our room was spacious and comfortable for a family. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help. We especially loved the freshly made breakfast each morning – simple but very delicious and thoughtful.

It felt like a calm and charming place to return to after exploring Porto. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
