Wonderful experience!
Pros:

We stayed here for four nights with our two kids and had a wonderful experience. The hotel has a very unique and artistic design, and our room was spacious and comfortable for a family. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help. We especially loved the freshly made breakfast each morning – simple but very delicious and thoughtful.

It felt like a calm and charming place to return to after exploring Porto. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Pros:

The staff’s hospitality was incredibly warm — truly the best part of the entire hotel.
We stayed in Villa C5, a standalone villa located across the courtyard. The space is large, with two bathrooms, which is very convenient. There are also two separate bedrooms that can accommodate 5–6 people, making it ideal for a family stay.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing — the best part of every day was waking up and looking forward to it.

Cons:

I’m not sure what the other rooms in this hotel are like, but I think there are quite a few areas for improvement in Villa C5 to make the hotel even better:
1. The villa is on the ground floor, and the courtyard is open to come and take photos. However, the curtains are semi-transparent, so privacy is not very good.
2. The courtyard was not well maintained. Tree branches were blocking parts of the walkway, and there are many steps. At night, there was no proper lighting — even using a flashlight, we almost tripped several times.
3. There was a serious ant and insect problem in the room. This really needs attention. Ants crawled from the living room all the way to the kitchen, there were spiders in the bathroom, and strange bugs in the bedroom. We didn’t feel comfortable sitting on the sofa or placing anything on the floor, which made the stay quite unsettling.
4. There was nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom, which was inconvenient. The water pressure was very weak, and on some days the hot water was not hot enough.
5. The lighting throughout the entire villa felt insufficient. Combined with the dark color scheme of the interior design, staying there for a while started to feel somewhat gloomy.

Lovely staff in a great area of Porto
Pros:

The staff were wonderful and breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

It smelt a bit damp and was a little noisy but this didn’t detract from our stay.

Pros:

La décoration de l’hôtel, très bon petit déjeuner,le personnel très sympathique et professionnel.très bonne literie.

Cons:

Chambre coté ville trop bruyante , pas assez insonorisé. Malgré tout , on as passer une bonne nuit .

A wonderfully comfortable and friendly hotel.
Pros:

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Tipografia do Conto. From the warm welcome from the staff and helpful city recommendations to the beautiful apartment and wonderful breakfast, everything was perfect. Robert was able to help book us a tour and also Gave us great dining options. The hotel is a few blocks away from the over crowded city center but a quick walk if you want to be in the middle of the action. The street was quiet and we met so many other friendly travelers there too which made it fun! The staff is truly amazing and we hope to return one day soon!

Agradável mas com melhorias a implementar
Pros:

- Staff: muito simpático e prestável. Ficaram com as nossas malas sem qq problema

Cons:

- Pq Almoço: pouca variedade e a padaria muito fraca
- Estacionamento: uma das razoes pela qual marcámos este hotel foi porque diziam que havia estacionamento disponivel no hotel no entanto quando chegámos estava cheio... e a opção que nos arranjaram foi colocar na rua ou por num parque pago
- Pelo preço sinto que falta algo diferenciador no hotel
