Pros:

Labai paslaugus personalas, skanūs pusryčiai ir vakarienė. Kiek toliau nuo pačio centro, bet labai patogu susistabdyti gatvėje taxi, todėl transporto problemos nebuvo. Labai arti supermaketas.

Cons:

Tuo laiku vyko kiemo tvarkymo/remonto darbai, todėl kiemelis buvo uždraytas.

It was terrible and I’d like to advise others to find some place else

Nothing except the view but that also I did not get even though I requested them for that room

The kitchen was busy serving other guests so they refused to serve us food, they didn’t have WiFi password displayed for us to use, the food quantity was too less and also the amount I paid for was with the breakfast but they didn’t not even mention to me the timing of the breakfast and they even cut the money for breakfast that we didn’t eat at the end

Beautiful spot to relax in Thimphu
Pros:

Location is very nice. The staff was incredibly helpful. They organised a guide last minute and were accommodating. Nado makes delicious meals, try ‘Aloo Paratha’ and Shimi gave a warm welcome!

Cons:

Could use a bit of renovation or refreshment of the rooms

All was good about the hotel...

Cons:

Unfortunately there was construction work ongoing outside my room window... The whole view was gone... And on top if that the noise of the machine breaking rocks... It was simply horrible...

Lovely stay
Pros:

Really great quality hotel. Lovely room and shower, witha good breakfast.

Cherry blossom trees and a nice view of the royal palace.

Cons:

A little outside thimphu, but only a 150 rupee taxi from city centre.

Perfect accommodation just outside Timphu
Pros:

We had a spatious room on the first floor with big windows, a seating area and sun all day. The heater was good, so we had a comfortable 3 night stay. The wifi was good, the beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night (only barking dogs every now and then). The cook is a very friendly men who prepared nice food. So we had a perfect stay.

Pros:

1) Room was spacious and beautiful view from the room.
2) Communication with the manager was excellent.

Cons:

1) There was hardly any option for the breakfast and dinner. The menu list was big, but most items were unavailable.
2) Housekeeping was ok but not satisfying all our requests.

Good value older hotel near the Dzong
Pros:

We had a room with large windows looking out to the Dzong. Because of the large windows, the room gets a good temperature during the day (mid Nov), for the night there is a small heater. The beds were very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The hotel arranged an airport pickup, a guide for an excursion to the Buddha and the Dzong, as well as a transfer to Paro. All at good rates. The hotel is older, which gives it character and in turn our stay was very affordable.

Cons:

Internet must be just one router and it was far from our room. Because of that the network dropped a lot.

very nice and helpfull staff, food authentic and always freshly prepared, very clean and comfortable room with attached bathroom, everything there needed. Beautiful garden and nice view.
