The finlen was perfect for our weekend in Butte!

Wonderful iconic hotel stay
Pros:

This is an iconic hotel in Butte, full of history, with a beautiful lobby area, complete with chandeliers, and an impressive mezzanine floor with sofas to relax on. It stands out on the Butte skyline and is in the heart of the historic uptown, near to the impressive disused mine ‘The Con’. There are restaurants nearby. Sparky’s Garage bar and grill is notable for good food and its car garage themed decor. Our double room was large and had everything we needed including air con. Staff were very friendly. This is a must stay hotel for visiting Butte but choose the original hotel rather than the adjoining motor inn (it’s modern extension). But do note there are no facilities here whatsoever apart from fresh coffee in the lobby- no food or bar, just vending machines, ice dispensers and a microwave on our landing

While this hotel is perfectly comfortable, You’re paying for staying in an historic hotel, not modern comforts.
Pros:

It’s an experience staying in this historic hotel from the past

Cons:

The historic hotel has an historic HVAC system. The portable Air conditioner in my room was loud. I didn’t realize that I could have just opened the window.
