One and done.

Location, staff was fantastic, cool history.

Cons:

$100 for parking, ridiculous! Stains all over the carpet in the room, Bourbon Restaurant was good but should have been exceptional for the price. My side dish was literally a tablespoon of sweet potato puree with 1 split pea pod and 3 pieces of juliened carrot and some pea sprouts. Odd. Wine was extremely overpriced.

Worst experience of a business hotel.
Pros:

Property is good but room WiFi followed by worst customer service ruined my business trip. I had to step out and take Uber to go office to complete business and end up with bad client experience. I called customer service and they connected to wifi provider, took all details about room and disconnected phone after any follow up. Being gold Bonvoy member this was the worst experience I have gone through a luxury hotel. I can send all details if you provide how to connect.

Met expectations and so much history
Pros:

So I usually stay at the ritz on Stockton. I love the club there but it was closed for renovations. So I was checking out other options and I landed on the st Francis. First, the lobby is quite lovely and the staff were mostly very friendly. And second, the breakfast in the lounge at the Westin was SOLID. And the location is nice. But… the room while huge with a spectacular view, was as mid as they get. Dated. Blah. Basic. But reasonably priced. I stayed in the tower on 27. I stick with bonvoy and the st Regis (at the least the room I liked) was too much of a splurge for this trip.

Unexpected San Francisco treat!
Pros:

We walked back into a movie from the past. Beautiful suite, long hallways, noisy elevators and a bar from another era. Lovely experience! Breakfast was also quite impressive.
