great hotel, service and amenities
Pros:

I am a man 70+ years old. recently stayed here with my daughter who had business meetings nearby . I am familiar with walking the PATH. came across some barber shops and later decided to get a cut. decided to ask concierge if she had any recommendation. wound up at Tower barber on Queen west close to University.
they had the old style chairs and I enjoyed the best barber work I can rembember.
my thanks to the tip from concierge staff.
also, the hotel is top class and the French themed restaurant magnifique

The location is close to the station really great for connection to the airport. Loved the pool especially the fact it is open at 6 am as I am a fan of early peaceful morning swims. Room is very spacious with fabulous king sized bed so comfortable too

The location and comfortable beds

Cons:

Unhelpful rude staff. Lack of attention to detail such as not enough towels left in the room for correct number of guests. Staff said they “ran out of robes”. Bins not emptied and towels not replaced after room cleaning. For the price of the hotel we expected more. Will opt for a different hotel next time

Gorgeous hotel and stunning rooms!! Get the executive pass if you can. The hotel has a great french restaurant that serves delicious French fare. If youre downtown Toronto, this is a solid stay!

Great location with adequate rooms.
Pros:

The Hilton Toronto is in the heart of downtown Toronto which is centrally located and walking distance to many restaurants, bars, the harbor, Union Station, CN Tower, and Chinatown.
The downtown area felt safe and clean even at night.
We had a room facing the CN Tower which was ok but nothing spectacular.
There were a few minor problems during our stay.
The hair conditioner bottle was not refilled for several days until I called housekeeping.
There is a concierge but only available on the weekends.
The lobby was full of big groups which made it difficult to walk with luggage.
Many times the elevator stopped almost on every floor and it took awhile to get somewhere quickly.
One day, the elevator got stuck and wouldn’t move.
The breakfast buffet was adequate including eggs to order which we were not told about for several days.
The highlight of our breakfast was a server named Baba who has worked at the hotel for over 50 years.
Every morning he greeted us with a smile and went out of his way to serve us. He is a big asset to the hotel.
Even with the few minor problems, the Hilton Toronto is a solid choice in downtown Toronto.

Did the job. Weird bathroom.

The staff were kind and professional.

Cons:

The sliding shower door was…. Backward. I don’t know how else to describe it. The entrance was next to the toilet rather than with any sensible clearance.
I also honestly think it was overpriced. The room was fine, serviceable, but honestly the rate was obscene for a pretty average room and a weird bathroom.

All in all a great stay and would stay there again.
Pros:

The entrance, valet personnel and front desk personnel were all lovely people. The lobby was beautiful. Rooms were extremely spacious, beds comfortable and pillows were TOP NOTCH in comfort. Room/bathroom was clean and well laid out. Loved the closet where lights turned on when you opened it, and drawers for clothes in there - all a nice touch!

Cons:

The only thing was there were no coffee cups with the coffee maker, so I Could not get coffee in the room. Don’t want to call down to front desk as my daughter was sleeping. We would have loved to eaten breakfast in the Frenchy Brasserie, but the prices were a bit steep.
