Gorgeous hotel and stunning rooms!! Get the executive pass if you can. The hotel has a great french restaurant that serves delicious French fare. If youre downtown Toronto, this is a solid stay!
L’emplacement, la propreté et la disponibilité et la gentillesse du personnel.
The Hilton Toronto is in the heart of downtown Toronto which is centrally located and walking distance to many restaurants, bars, the harbor, Union Station, CN Tower, and Chinatown.
The downtown area felt safe and clean even at night.
We had a room facing the CN Tower which was ok but nothing spectacular.
There were a few minor problems during our stay.
The hair conditioner bottle was not refilled for several days until I called housekeeping.
There is a concierge but only available on the weekends.
The lobby was full of big groups which made it difficult to walk with luggage.
Many times the elevator stopped almost on every floor and it took awhile to get somewhere quickly.
One day, the elevator got stuck and wouldn’t move.
The breakfast buffet was adequate including eggs to order which we were not told about for several days.
The highlight of our breakfast was a server named Baba who has worked at the hotel for over 50 years.
Every morning he greeted us with a smile and went out of his way to serve us. He is a big asset to the hotel.
Even with the few minor problems, the Hilton Toronto is a solid choice in downtown Toronto.
Room Was Spacious
Uncomfortable bed
The staff were kind and professional.
The sliding shower door was…. Backward. I don’t know how else to describe it. The entrance was next to the toilet rather than with any sensible clearance.
I also honestly think it was overpriced. The room was fine, serviceable, but honestly the rate was obscene for a pretty average room and a weird bathroom.
The lounge or club access is worthy it! Great stay!!
L'emplacement
J’ai particulièrement tout aimé, la vue , la rapidité du service , vraiment je recommande à 100% excellents
The entrance, valet personnel and front desk personnel were all lovely people. The lobby was beautiful. Rooms were extremely spacious, beds comfortable and pillows were TOP NOTCH in comfort. Room/bathroom was clean and well laid out. Loved the closet where lights turned on when you opened it, and drawers for clothes in there - all a nice touch!
The only thing was there were no coffee cups with the coffee maker, so I Could not get coffee in the room. Don’t want to call down to front desk as my daughter was sleeping. We would have loved to eaten breakfast in the Frenchy Brasserie, but the prices were a bit steep.
I stay in a lot of hotels for business. The good here — Great location in downtown Toronto - connected to PATH system linking via underground to finance towers, Blue Jays stadium, Union station etc. Checkin was smooth, friendly and was offered water on a hot day. Hotel had good bar/Restaurant and cafe and place to grab coffee etc. with lots of options nearby. I had a standard room - the layout was large and bathroom well designed. Lots of plugs and good lighting. Seemed updated - glass elevator view esp riding it up to 32nd floor was fun. The not so good here - coffee cups in room were paper disposable type only — after I used the first two, I never got more — had to use my water glass last days. Coffee pods not replaced - had to switch to decaf last day. Coffee was mediocre (not Nespresso or lavazza) — think the type you get from vending machine in a hospital. Towels were taken away but never replaced. The four large bolted-in bottles of products in bathroom were low — no lotion at all — and was not filled until I forcibly removed the empty bottle from its holder and placed it on counter to get a refill the third day. No other bathroom amenities other than the (empty to empty-ish) four bottles. If I was in a holiday inn etc would have been fine - but doesn’t match amenities or service of hotels that are the same price or less in downtown Toronto. That said I would stay again but bring my own coffee cups.
I loved it
Nothing in particular
Good location, very clean and been upgraded since our last stay. Restaurant was really yummy and great service
Elevators broke one day so had to use staff elevators instead. Also they didn’t know what a cot was. They thought a cot was a sofa bed.
The place in general
Food no variety
Clean
You have to request for everything you need! Room is literally empty. Not even a bottled water! Staff are not friendly and not welcoming. Not worth the price you paid.
It was near the train station so not too far to walk the bed was comfortable and it was quiet
Not a lot to say about dislikes we only stayed one night getting there at 10 at night and leaving at 8 in the morning
