It was nice, just the issue with the lighting was frustrating
Pros:

Very tasty.

Cons:

I found the lighting in my room very dark, there wasn’t a main light, just several dim lights and lamps so was difficult to work from my room

Elevagors were not working effectively all through and walking up 20 flights of stairs is not ideal
Pros:

location

Cons:

elevators were down on a very busy weekend. The building materials must either be rye cheaply made or the sirens from ambulance was very loud. I couldn't sleep through the night due to noise and I was on the 19th floor.

It was fine, but a few issues with noise in the room
Pros:

Location and ease of checkin

Cons:

Loud neighbours partying in neighbouring rooms until 3am, no drinking water replaced in rooms or any other tea making implements replaced as used, so ran out of ability to make tea on Day 1 of my 4 day stay.
The fridge engine also was quite loud and would keep me up at night along with a recurring beeping that I could not find the source of.

Overpriced, outdated: needs renovation
Pros:

Comfortable bed, high flow shower.

Cons:

The hotel room was quite outdated and dark, even with all the lights on. For the price you pay, the facilities for a king room are quite limited. No water in the room, no notebook and pen, cheap coffee machine, coffee not replenished every day. One day the room wasn't cleaned.

Although zero F, I enjoyed the walk to and from Union Station and the Convention Center
Pros:

Great view - I was in 1806. Room was fine - nothing special, but fine.

Cons:

Noise in the hallway Friday night - but it was from asshole guests, not the hotel's fault.

Best Hotel Ever ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pros:

I stayed at the Hilton Toronto last weekend and I honestly can’t stop thinking about how amazing the experience was. From the second I arrived, everything just felt easy, welcoming, and genuinely special.

Peter Chung, the doorman, was the first person I met and he immediately made me feel so welcomed. It seems like a small thing, but that first interaction really set the tone for the whole weekend.

Check-in was smooth and friendly thanks to Susana Costa and Garrick at the front desk. They were warm, professional, and made everything feel effortless. Daniela Alhanova, the Assistant Front Office Manager, went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. You can tell she really cares about guest experience.

I also want to recognize Jon Padley (Complex Director of Revenue). The overall organization and smoothness of the stay reflects strong leadership behind the scenes.

I felt completely comfortable the entire weekend, and that’s thanks to the amazing safety team. Hamid Sharif Mohiuddin (Security Supervisor) and Julian Kearney (Complex Director of Safety & Security) were both professional and reassuring. It’s clear they take their roles seriously, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

The Executive Lounge was another highlight. Elena Amdegiorgis was absolutely wonderful — so kind and attentive. She made the lounge feel personal and welcoming instead of just another hotel space.

Dinner at Frenchy was incredible. Abhik Saha and Kevin Chui were fantastic servers — attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. And Chef Joseph Man, along with the entire culinary team, deserves so much credit. Every dish was beautifully prepared and honestly some of the best food I’ve had at a hotel.

What made this stay special wasn’t just the location or the amenities — it was the people. Every single person I interacted with made me feel valued. That kind of service can’t be faked, and it made my weekend unforgettable.

I’ll absolutely be back. Thank you to the entire Hilton Toronto team for such a memorable stay.
