Beautiful historic hotel with walk ability to nearby concert and event centers! Many excellent restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very accommodating! Enjoyed a delicious breakfast in The Terrace Room. Definitely will stay again!
Front desk people were very knowledgeable and friendly
No evening room service and limited breakfast room service menu
Welcoming staff, great restaurant options, clean, well appointed
Beautiful hotel. Check in was easy
Parking. We tried to park in garage but was full. Valet parking was rude and expensive
All the loveliness and location.
Nothing to not like.
Staff great people
Love that old hotel!!!
The location and staff were great and the beds were comfy they even upgraded my room to a king for no charge
Didn't have free breakfast
An absolutely stunning, historic building close to The Benedum Theater and so many other awesome attractions in downtown Pittsburgh!
The brunch at The Terrace Room is one of the best eggs benedict anywhere.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
Wonderful place to make memories!
I live in Ohio but visit Pittsburgh a few times a month for business. I’ve stayed at all of the nicer hotels downtown but this one is the best!
The public areas are beautiful and classic and the guest rooms are classically furnished but very nice.
I appreciate that it has literally four places to eat or drink, from the nice main restaurant (had a nice breakfast) to the Tap Room (good pub food) to both a coffee shop and a high-end bakery.
The bed was amazing. The bathtub /shower was big and has marble. The A/C system had a good fan to run all night if you like white noise like me.
Efficient elevators and quiet rooms.
Zach at the front desk got me a slightly bigger room than I paid for, from booking directly. Danny at the Tap Room is a great bartender and everyone had a good drink and a lot of fun.
Classic old fashioned hotel but modern.
How every single worker (other than the giftshop girl) was so above and beyond. So friendly and kind. Willing to help and greeted every time they saw my husband and I. They made the atmosphere feel so warm and cozy, like family. I kept telling my husband how I cannot wait to come back just for how friendly and kind everyone was.
I felt the young girl working in the giftshop sunday night was rude and not helpful. She looked disgusted when I asked if they sold coffee and like I bothered her from being on her phone. I even told her thank you and have a nice night and she ignored me, sat back down, and started playing on her phone again.
Gorgeous hotel with a rich sense of history, comfortable rooms, and great restaurant options. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Love the vintage decor it was well taken care of
Nothing I didn’t like
