I booked a deluxe king room for myself and was given a room with a king sized bed plus a single placed on top of the couch in what could have been a great little lounge atea. . A very large room suddenly felt very cluttered with nowhere to sit other than a bed.
I was also surprised to find that the complimentary waters were not topped up daily.

This was one of the best hotel experiences in my life! Every detail was perfect. What especially stood out was the personnel, how they cleaned the room with care and were always helpful at the reception. I especially appreciated when I had an issue with my hair dryer, they didn’t just replace it, they offered us a complimentary breakfast and contacted me personally a couple of times to make sure everything was fine. The swimming pool and sauna experience is just amazing! It should not be missed! I wish I had time to visit it every single day! Totally recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in Seoul.

Unvergessliches Erlebnis im Herz von Seoul
Pros:

Es ist nicht einfach ein schönes Hotel, sond. ein historischer Ort mit besonderen Charm. Die Lage ist mehr als perfekt: Myungdong und Gwangwhamun Square 5 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Direkt davor ist eine Subway Station. Ich werde sicher nochmal kommen!

Fabulous hotel with outstanding staff
Pros:

The staff were exceptional! Warm and friendly without being invasive and so helpful when I needed anything. The room was large, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fantastic with a range of foods - something for every palette. The hotel deli sold amazing sandwiches, salads and cakes and there are range of dining experiences available in the hotel. Location is excellent, within easy reach of subway stations and walking distance of shopping area. This hotel was a highlight of my holiday and easily one of the best I have stayed in.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike in my opinion.

Excellent stay. Would return.
Pros:

Clean, comfortable, well appointed, great service, excellent breakfast, good location.

Cons:

Air conditioning struggled to get the room below 70 degrees. We like to sleep in a colder room, so that was pretty stuffy for us. The room does have some small windows that open, so we were able to get the room cooler that way, but in the summer that wouldn’t help you much.

Best stay we had in a long time. Staff are absolutely amazing, no matter in what department.

Everything. Glorious place with a firm place in the history of Seoul.

Cons:

Nothing I did not like. The rooms are a little older but incredibly clean so that did not bother us a bit.
