Very good location, very nice and kind staff, beautiful entrance and nice restaurants.
Pros:

The staff were excellent, very polite and helpful! Especially the Japanese Lady and a tall Korean gentleman at the concierge/entrance! I don’t remember their names but they were both very helpful and kind with us! The man assisted us by providing information on the best way to report to a police station an incident that had happened to us at a shop in Myeongdong. We are very grateful to both of them.

Cons:

The bedroom wasn’t cleaned well unfortunately. Bathrooms need renovation and modernization. We also changed rooms due to the extreme noise from the road outside. The staff were helpful and positive in arranging that.

Sehr zentrale Lage, phantastisches Personal, tolle Aussicht vom Executive Room im 19 Floor. Tolles Frühstück. Schöner Sauna Bereich

Cons:

Executive Lounge und Pool mussten während unseres Aufenthaltes immer reserviert werden für den folgenden Tag - sehr aufwändig und kompliziert. Am Tag unserer Abreise wurde dieses Procedere aber aufgehoben 👍🏻.

Great stay right in the center of Myeondong yet away from the noise
Pros:

1. We had three rooms and JAY at the reception accommodated us on the same floor.
2. They gave us vouchers to spend on food and drinks worth around $130 which ‏is a nice little gift.
3. We used the sauna and the gym - excellent facilities overall

Old school luxury with impeccable service
Pros:

We live in Seoul, but needed a quick room due to personal circumstances. We’ve been curious about the Westin, so decided to give it a try.

What made it a stand out was hands down the level of service and professionalism shown by every single staff member we encountered. From the front desk personnel, to the floor attendants, sauna and gym staff, Aria employees, Tom on the top floor and the manager…Each encounter was warm, genuine & extremely professional. Each person we met was fluent in both Korean and English, which was convenient for us. This level of customer service is NOT at all common these days, in any hotel anywhere, so it did not escape us. We are not by any means high level members or special people, & I believe they show this type of respect to all guests, regardless of status.

The vibe of the hotel is old luxury, with marble and lots of wood and fresh flowers. It was impeccably clean and well tended, despite the hotel being here for a long time.

The gym was huge, even by western standards, and they even offer running shoes in case you forgot yours. My husband said the sauna was complete, with hot & cool pools, steam and dry heat. Full saunas (not spas) are not common these days, so this was nice to find.

We would definitely stay again due to the incredible team & full amenities and level of service. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Pros:

Very nice experience. Personal super helpful and kind. Perfect location with only a few hundred meters to the subway and many beautiful sightseeing options in walking distance. Absolutely stunning gym with everything you could need. Great japanese restaurant in the top floor.

Excellent service from Jenny Jung for elderly travelers
Pros:

I’d love to give a huge shoutout to Jenny Jung during my stay at The Westin Josun Seoul.
I traveled with my 80-year-old mother, and Jenny was incredibly patient, compassionate and thoughtful the entire time. She was so kind and considerate toward my elderly mom, taking extra time to assist us with everything we needed. Beyond her warm heart, she also delivered truly professional service with great attention to detail.
Her gentle care and outstanding professionalism made our trip far more comfortable and stress-free. We really appreciate her kindness and will definitely come back to this hotel partly because of Jenny’s wonderful service. Highly recommend!

Best service ever
Pros:

I travel a ton for work all over the US and Europe, so I've stayed in plenty of hotels, but this was my family's first time staying at one in Seoul. What a great experience. Woody and the whole team were so warm and took amazing care of us.
