Slept like a baby
Only complaint was people staying above us had kids that were very loud all day long.
Great location, friendly/helpful staff.
No major dislikes to mention.
Best affordable stay! The full kitchen with all appliances was nice. Clean and spacious room. Has a guest laundry service room available 24 hours. The location was near restaurants and shopping centers within walking distance. A quiet place to rest after a long day. I definitely recommend this hotel!
Coffee
Hard to control heat.
The room has a kitchenette but they do no have plates or cutlery, they have zero items in the room, no rag or soap even, all cabinets were empty, the front desk man said I could buy plates if I wanted to. Their was a lot of very curly black hairs stuck to the wall and ceiling in the bathroom, I am not even sure how they got SO MUCH hair up there.
Its really nice and comfortable.
Everything was great
Nothing
I think the property is located in a nice area of town.
I think the management is terrible. I think they have poor customer service. The manager is unprofessional and has issues controlling his emotions.
Upon my first stay there, the manager unlocked the door and walked into the room with my girlfriend in her BRA and PANTIES! He then said he could walk in anybody’s room as long as he knocked once. She was really scared and couldn’t sit in the room alone after that.
I filled a complaint with Choice Hotels (parent company) and they were apologetic for the way the manager handled things and assured me that I would never have issues again and give them an opportunity to correct the manager.
I book another stay reluctantly because of the price. When we get there we are given a key and told the room is in the basement. No room with that number in the basement. The front desk clerk apologized and said we’re in the building across the street. As we’re walking across the parking lot, following the correct directions this time, my GF and I hear loud arguing from the building. We enter the building. The arguing is louder. We get to the end of the hall and directly across from the room was a violent domestic dispute.
We return to the front desk and ask for a different room. I didn’t find it safe to lay your head down across from strangers whom are fighting. They continued to push the room on me and my GF even after I told them about the PTSD I had from my neighbors having a double homicide years ago over a domestic dispute.
For 45 minutes we sat in the lobby with them refusing to offer any alternative other than staying across from a couple who were clearly beating each other up. It wasn’t until I had booked another room at a different hotel that they magically had another room. I asked for a refund and it took 22 calls to booking.com, 33 days, and 5 conference calls with booking.com and the hotel, because the hotel manager was being extremely difficult and unprofessional.
Very clean apartment type studio in a quiet location. My really like the room setting.
Kitchen ustensiles could have been put in the kitchen cabinet not in the office
Location was close to Louder Than Life grounds. Staff was wonderful- very pleasant, professional, kind. I didn't bring any concerns or complaints to staff so I am not sure how they would have handled it.
The whole building smelled like old cigarette smoke. Rooms were a bit outdated. I bought lysol wipes and sanitizer spray to be more comfortable. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in- it felt like sleeping on a park bench. The shower water pressure was terrible and the drain was full of hair. I wore white socks on the carpet and they reflected the fact the carpet needs to go! The room was smaller than I expected, but for the price it was alright. Also, there is NO breakfast so that needs took off the list.
Everything was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly
Could use an update on stove, TV, counter tops, etc. But everything was well kept so still very nice
The price was pretty great for the area and considering events going on in the area. I really appreciated having a full size fridge and a stove as well.
There arent any ice machines. I could hear the people above me the entire time. The exhaust fan in the bathroom also did not work so every time I showered it would be humid in there for a good while
It was kind of gross😆. But for the price it would work. Maybe bring your own sheets, pillows, etc.
The people up front were nice and helpful. Its a long term stay kind of place so the rooms are Very Used. Also a lot of "tennants" hanging out in the parking lot, smoking, etc.
We booked two rooms, and ended up with one right above the other. The shower from the top room leaked water into the bottom, and the hotel staff promised a repairman would be there in the morning, and he mever showed up for the two days we stayed.
As a disabled veteran, my wife and I were very happy that our Convention was held right next door!
No response
If you are looking for a cheap stay, then this is honestly not a bad option. It is conveniently located to a lot of places, and although everything was very old, our room was decently clean.
My wife and I are not generally ones to complain; however, we did not have the best experience at this place. The staff was not super friendly when we arrived, and the main areas and halls reeked of marijuana from the night we checked in to the day we left two nights later. Our key card did not work the get in the front door one evening, and we had to walk around the building to get inside. Thankfully that worked, as there was no one on duty at night. The place also does not have any elevators. They also need to do some plumbing work as the sink and shower barely drain at all.
It was clear to us after our stay why this place was inexpensive.
