The location
Room smelled like cigarettes, shower didn’t work and was backed up and had no conditioner or body wash in it then I was moved to another room that was just as bad no body wash or Kleenex. Pool was broken and jacuzzi barely worked.
Friendly staff. Clean. Nice breakfast. Easy to get to right off the highway.
One of the bolts on the toilet was broken so it rocked every time you sat on it.

I tried reaching out to the front desk, to the email provided by the front desk, the online portal and got zero response so I'll post this here:
Dear Fairfield by Marriott Port Huron Management,
I am writing to formally request a full refund for our stay on March 14, 2026.
Unfortunately, the experience my family and I had during our stay was extremely disappointing. We were unable to get any rest until after 4:00 a.m. due to excessive noise coming from the room next to us. The guests in that room were yelling, screaming, and repeatedly hitting the wall. There was also a young child running around so heavily that we could literally feel the floor shaking in our room.
My fiancé went to the front desk around 11:30 p.m. to report the disturbance. Despite this, the noise continued for hours. We made three additional calls to the front desk throughout the night to report the situation, with the last contact occurring around 4:00 a.m. Unfortunately, the issue was never resolved and the guests were allowed to remain in their room while the disruption continued.
Because of this, our entire night was ruined. We paid a significant amount of money expecting a comfortable place to rest, but instead we spent most of the night awake and are now attempting to drive home severely sleep deprived.
This was, without question, the worst hotel stay we have ever experienced. Given the circumstances and the lack of resolution despite multiple reports to the front desk, we believe a full refund is warranted.
Please let us know how this situation will be addressed. I would appreciate a prompt response.

Pool and hot tub need updates.
At check-in, the receptionist was very polite even though my husband and I arrived pretty late after a long drive. Housekeeping was also very nice to us. Probably the best free continental hotel breakfast I have had in the US. Lots of options, and plenty of toppings for yogurt / oatmeal.
The opaque curtains did not cover the entire window, only the gauze curtains did. I wish I had been able to block out light a little better.
Erin and the Front desk staff were great! I appreciate the accommodations I received and I will be back to rent again soon. 10 out of 10

Friendly, accommodating staff. I called at 11:50 pm to see how late I could check in. Lee said he’d be at the front desk all night so take my time and be safe on the snow covered roads.
There was a small issue of check out time. The morning manager came to my room at 11:15am and told me checkout had been at 11. I shared that my booking.com reservation said noon checkout. She graciously changed it in the computer.
