Id give negative stars, if I could.
Pros:

Location, ease of access to highways and restraunts the breakfast area in the lobby was decent.

Cons:

Myself and 3 others stayed at this location in cedar rapids, 2 separate Rooms. Both rooms smelled like mildew, the ac barely kept up and produced humidity to the level the blankets on the beds felt wet. Trees in parking lot need trimmed back substancially hanging low enough to cover up several parking spaces. Elevators were musty and at times smelled absolutely horrid. I will not be returning to not only this Days Inn, but Days Inn in general. 900$ for a week for just one room and the place is for lack of better words disgusting, we all checked out earlier than originally planned based off of these issues and gladly spent another 7 days rate at a more reputable establishment.

Clean, basic hotel
Pros:

Clean hotel, good location that was near several points of interest for our stay. Breakfast was a bit basic, would have been nice to have eggs available.

No toilet for a week

Toilet didn't flush told clerk maintenance came up looked in back got it to flush never came back moved to different hotel on Wednesday

It was extremely dirty. Pictures online were very deceptive. Room was dirty. Old food and bugs in my room. Everything was dusty. Lots of cob webs. Phone was sticky with a substance that had been spilled all over it and never cleaned. I will never stay here again

Disappointing service that failed to accommodate a disabled guest despite advance notice.

Unfortunately, there was very little to like about this stay.

Cons:

I specifically booked this hotel because it offered a sofa bed, as I have a disability and cannot sleep flat. I called in advance to request that the sofa bed be made up before our arrival, but it wasn’t, there was no bedding provided, and there wasn’t even a telephone in the room. When I called reception on my mobile, I was told to come and collect the bedding myself despite explaining that I was disabled. The breakfast was also extremely disappointing, with no hot food available—only bread, cereal, fruit, tea, and coffee.

Never again! False advertisement.

I left within 10 minutes of seeing the room.

Cons:

This hotel mentioned they had renovated/upgraded the rooms. When walking into the room, the smells of mold/mildew hit you in the face. The room was not clean, dust, trash etc and when sitting on the mattresses you sink to the wood frame- there was no internal support left in the mattresses. Also after sitting on the mattress my pants were damp.

Cancelled my room on me
Pros:

I booked a room a couple of weeks ago and was informed at 5:30 pm (day of reservation) that my room was cancelled due to some pre authorization issues with my credit card. I had received a call from them earlier that I tried to call them back and they didn’t answer the phone ?!?After multiple calls they informed me they cancelled my room with no other rooms available. There’s nothing wrong with my card, used it last night at another hotel with no issues. Since when do you have to pre pay anyway?
Furthermore, staff was rude and unwilling to assist me with this situation. Would not recommend this place.

Smoked out by cigger-weed people, zero parking, no breakfast (cold cereal), and somalian drug dealers all on the 3rd floor. Glad to wake up and drive away in the morning.
