My Cousin and I Had The Greatest Time There! It Was Clean, The Breakfast Buffet Was Delicious But The Service Was The Best! I Wish There Was A Kenneth And Roxie At Every Hotel! I Also Loved That All Of Their Plants Were Real!
the staff is super friendly and the hotel is beautiful
I stayed at the Westin New Orleans from July 2 through July 5 and paid approximately $1,600 for my stay. Given the reputation of the property and the premium price point, I expected a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.
Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by a serious sanitation concern. During my stay, I encountered a rat multiple times in the hallway on the 29th floor. Seeing a rodent in a guest area of a hotel, particularly one marketed as an upscale property, was both alarming and unacceptable.
After the first sighting, I was extremely uncomfortable for the remainder of my stay. Rather than being able to relax and enjoy my vacation, I found myself worrying about whether rodents could enter my room or whether I would wake up to find one inside. No guest paying this level of rate should have to experience that kind of concern.
The presence of a rat in a hotel hallway raises significant questions about cleanliness, maintenance, and pest control procedures. While I understand that issues can occasionally arise in any property, encountering a rat(s) multiple times suggests a problem that was not addressed promptly. Even though I spoke with the front desk and they sent someone up to place big visible traps at doors in the hallway area.
For the amount I paid, I expected much better. This experience fell far below the standards I associate with both the Westin brand and Marriott properties. I hope management takes immediate action to address this issue so future guests do not have a similar experience.
The Westin New Orleans was the perfect locale for our NOLA trip for the Essence Festival. It was close enough to all of the excitement but not too close. We were still able to kick back and relax while watching the river. The concierge, Roxie McCovins, was the absolute best! Before our trip, she provided us info on transportation from the airport. While there, she assisted us with the excursions, recommended the best restaurants, and arranged for taxi service back to the airport. She was like our own personal travel assistant. Please check in with her on trip to the Westin.
The location, which e had a combo city/river view! It was gorgeous!
From the parking garage you can get lost on how to get to the hotel. Luckily one of the front desk workers guided us on how to get to the front desk!
We arrived late after a long day driving and Miss Amanda was right there to greet us and ensure we had a room in a quiet spot. We enjoyed such a restful sleep and awakened to beautiful views of the river in the morning. The hotel is in a great spot to walk everywhere and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning soon. Highly recommend!
As camas eram bastante confortáveis
O pequeno almoço não era fantástico e as únicas casas de banho eram dentro do quarto. Se quisermos ir ao wc quando estamos no bar tínhamos que ir ao quarto
