When me and my Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc., Soror arrived, Lucas and Nick came right up to our Uber and welcomed us to Westin.
Their quick response to welcoming us overwhelmed us because we hadn’t experienced such great customer service in so long. They were perfect gentlemen and were very helpful and mannerly young men. It was a breath of fresh air meeting and conversing with them.
When I commented, “ I am just not used to such warm welcomes and quick service!” Lucas stated, “ Well ma’am, this is THE WESTIN!” What a great pair of young men!

While the hotel is undergoing renovations the staff was great. Especially in valet! I received quick and professional service. Lucas and Nick are very friendly and respectful and use care when loading your luggage.

Friendly valet team - they were the best! Great front desk. Sadly, this hotel is really marred by its appearance. It’s dated on the outside and inside. Feels like it is stuck in the 80s. Rooms are dark and dreary and feel like a prison. My door didn’t even lock properly. To reach the pool (awful), you have to walk down a hallway and take a slow elevator down. There’s nothing there. Starbucks next door and that’s it. Please stay elsewhere!

Nick and Lucas were so great at the valet today while I was onsite for a venue tour. They were very friendly and seemed like they really enjoyed their job.

Also Winnelle with the events staff was TOP notice in our tour. She answered all of our questions and was so accommodating.

The hotel is under renovation and there was some construction noises. House keeping was not the best we had to ask 5 times for hangers and once we came back to our room with a note on the door that said we stopped by and couldn't clean your room because it was occupied so we had to go to the desk and ask for towels. The pool was very nice and kept but the bar was not open most of the time only on Friday and Saturdays. The valet's were the best part of that place they were always on top of it. They really helped us out.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Westin Marriott Tampa on the river with a spectacular view. We were greeted by valet Nick the moment we arrived and spoke with him throughout our stay, having the pleasure of seeing him also at our departure. He was so kind, professional and well spoken. We were there for a Shrine convention and we all felt he was one of us showing interest and respect. His parents raised him well!!
Our rooms were well maintained , beds were a dream to sleep in, and the housekeeping staff did an amazing job keeping everything clean and welcoming.
The only suggestion I would give is that the Westin partner with a company for better shower supplies. My hair and body did not feel refreshed from what is there now.
Overall our stay was wonderful at the Westin Marriott Tampa, and I highly recommend others to stay there. Thank you.
