Good place to stay when visiting Grand Canyon
Pros:

Stayed in the hotel section of the lodge. Was clean, well-maintained, quiet (although it was a weekday in winter, so could be more noisy in the busy season). Desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. No breakfast offered. Can walk to most of the restaurants in Tusayan. Good value for the money.

Pros:

This place is a dump and I paid almost $200 for what I thought was going to be a nice place. Noisy
Dirty, run down. So much bad I couldn't list everything.

if you’re searching for spotless, just go to the red feather
Pros:

there was two couples we stayed at the red feather Inn in September after reading reviews of hotels in the park we decided to get the red feather try and glad we did. The rooms were spotless. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had dinner in the park and spent most of the time in the park and just came out for the night and had reservations for breakfast also at El Tavor which was a great experience and well worth it

Great Place to Stay!
Pros:

Great hotel with clean rooms, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. We stayed here on our way to the Grand Canyon and it is right outside of the park. The front desk staff even gave us great sunrise locations to hit while at the park. I would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable, convenient alternative to Grand Canyon Village hotels
Pros:

A great lodging alternative to staying inside Grand Canyon National Park on the South Rim. We stayed at Red Feather in August 2025 as part of the photography workshop I was attending. It was very comfortable, modern, reasonably priced, and had a Starbucks and a great Mexican restaurant nearby. While not located right on the rim we really didn’t feel like we gave up much in convenience. We had no problem driving to the visitors center or Bright Angel Lodge (both about 8 miles away) to catch most of the rim shuttles, and there was a readily available shuttle running all day from town to the rim. It was especially easy driving from Tusayan to the eastern viewpoints on Desert View Drive. Consider Red Feather as a viable alternative to staying on the rim.

Great location for Grand Canyon visit.
Pros:

Nice hotel complex, spacious and clean room, fireplace in the lobby. If breakfast is included in your tour, enjoy it, better than most! Good restaurant on site and others nearby.

Nice stay in a great location
Pros:

We've stayed here multiple times while visiting the park, most recently this week.
Pleasant stay at a great location for Grand Canyon National Park. Our room was clean and a good size, with a bathroom where everything worked-including the hot water-and was a good size also. Clean, quiet, convenient and easy parking-and nice and helpful staff!
So good room minutes from the entrance to GCNP; strong recommend.

WONDERFUL!!!!! Always a great stay at the Red Feather Lodge. KUDOS to you all!
Pros:

Every time I visit the Grand Canyon, which has been numerous times, my husband & i stay at the Red Feather Lodge. We have never been disappointed, which is why we come back. We stayed there recently, on Wednesday, August 6th. This review is on the young man, Marion, who checked us in at the front desk. KUDOS to him for the EXCELLENT customer service he gave me. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I definitely would. Many more!! I'm a stickler when it comes to customer service, especially nowadays when you don't find it much anymore. Not the case with Marion. I had 3 front desk people to choose from & I truly believe the universe pointed me to him. He greeted me with a smile, a "how are you doing today" & i could see & hear his genuine caring for me "the guest". Since they weren't busy at the time, we were able to have a very nice conversation. Considering that he was a lot younger than me, I'd say maybe early 20's & I'm 71, i enjoyed the fact that yes, two generations so far apart could have an interesting talk like we did. One thing led to another & he told me that he was Navajo. I asked him questions & it was a delight to hear about his culture & the fact that he started learning early in life what's important & what's not. Lots of young people don't feel that way. I told him that no matter what, never, ever forget where his roots are planted. No matter what people may say to him to always hold true to his culture's ways. Nowadays, in a world where some parents do not teach their children the "right" way to be, it's a blessing to hear about Marion's life. I hope the powers to be at the Lodge appreciate the fact that I, a returning guest, enjoyed my experience with Marion as the one who checked me in. Please let him know about this review. I'm sure it will warm his heart & make him feel great. Sometimes companies neglect to tell their employees about reviews. :( If you choose employee of the month, at the Lodge, I vote for Marion. :) Also, last but not least, I loved our clean room & the smiles from the housekeeping & maintenance people we came across. Keep up the great job you are all doing. I totally appreciate each and everyone of you. We shall return. Have a wonderful day. :)

A wonderful place to stay when visiting Grand Canyon National Park!
Pros:

Red Feather Lodge is a great place for staying while visiting the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It takes less than 15 minutes to drive to the Visitor Center to catch the shuttle buses, which is very convenient for watching sunrise and sunset. I stayed in the lodge, very friendly and helpful staff at the reception, the room was spacious, very clean and quiet, comfy beds and pillows with great Wi-Fi service. Complimentary tea/coffee in the lobby, and there were plenty of parking space. There were also many restaurants nearby. Rates were very reasonable considering how close they are to the Grand Canyon National Park. I would highly recommend Red Feather Lodge to anyone traveling to see the Grand Canyon!

Pros:

Room comfortable, very comfortable beds with good block out curtains so it was dark. My son used the ice machine a lot!
SEcond night there was a family with 1 or 2 young children who cried a lot and were very noisy. They did not wake us up overnight but we could hear all the noise from about 8-10pm through the walls.
Also put water bottles in our fridge which didn't get cold so don't know if fridge was not turned on and we had to do that or if it was not working.
