Important information:

Check-in is at 3pm, however the hotel will store any luggage for early arrivals. Should your room be available, you will be provided with keys immediately. To guarantee early arrival your room will need to be reserved from the night prior to arrival at the cost of one night’s accommodations. Please let the hotel know your expected time of arrival.

Check-out time is 12 noon, but the hotel are happy to extend your check out time (subject to availability.) Please let the hotel know your anticipated time of departure if possible. If the hotel is exceptionally busy they do reserve the right to charge a late check-out fee.

Extra beds are ONLY available in Junior and Executive Suites and not in any Standard rooms.

Please be aware that on arrival at the hotel a credit or debit card or cash deposit must be provided for a pre charge/ authorization for the accommodations and for any extras. As a standard hotel policy, upon arrival an amount of £50.00 per night will be temporarily pre authorized on your card or taken as cash deposit towards any extras during your stay with us. Anything that is not used will be released from your card upon your departure from the Hotel.

Some issues
Pros:

The hotel greeted us with a flute of champagne each, the reception staff (Israel) was very friendly and welcoming. The concierge staff and the restaurant staff were very nice also, can’t fault them. The bed was super comfortable and the bah filled up with water in less than 1 minute. Had a great night sleep and the street below is very quiet!

Cons:

We did not have a Nespresso machine in the room, instead instant filter coffee offered, which we did not know how to use. The selection of teas was not enough and thought they were not beautifully arranged. All 4 star hotels now offer a Nespresso machine, so not sure why the hotel did not offer it. We had some issues with some extras we ordered! The hotel offered to buy my friend a cake for her bday, however the cake never came! Some flowers were also delivered, which also arrived but without the complementary note, so my friend did not know who bought the flowers for her. The room was plain, very gentlemanly, I did not think suitable for two ladies. It also had outdated and worn out furniture. The bed frame was scratched. There was bar in the room which was odd. You are also missing out on a trick of clients spending money out of the mini bar!! We did manage to sort through these issues after our stay,privately, through emails and the hotel manager kindly reassured us that they will take our complaints and concerns into consideration. They also told us the hotel will be going through a refurb so many of these concerns will be addressed. Overall, not sure we would come back, sadly.

Pros:

I stayed for five nights and had a wonderful time at The Chesterfield Mayfair. My room was quiet and decorated in classic, old-school English style (chintz, heavy curtains, thick carpet, striped silk wallpaper, mirrored wall, lamps, brown furniture) which made it feel very cozy, luxe, and comfortable even though it was small.
The bed was spacious and the pillows stuffed with feathers. The bathroom was all chrome and marble tiles, smaller but functional, and equipped with Floris beauty product (citrusy & so chic), plenty of towels and bathrobes.
My big pet peeve in hotel rooms is the lack of outlets to charge your phone and no bottled water—this wasn't the case here: there are enough sockets to plug everyone's electronics and the hotels provides both still and sparkling water in pretty glass bottles every day.
You can also make your own tea or coffee in the room using an electric kettle that comes in a practical storage box. This box is cool—it also has an assortment of tea bags, ground coffee beans to make French press, fresh milk and cookies, which are all replenished daily. I didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but ordered room service one evening (fried chicken sandwich with fries) and it was excellent. The hotel staff is great—helpful, polite and discreet.

Pros:

Everything was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. I also used this hotel for my client, and she really enjoyed her stay. The breakfast was excellent as well, and the choices were plenty!

Amazing sweets afternoon tea! Eliane great waitress! Halal offered too!

Took my daughter for a special girls day out and we had a really lovely experience at The Chesterfield Afteenoon tea sweet shop themed. Really good value for money it was unlimited and we were allowed to take the rest home. And we had fun visiting the sweets counter to go home.
Eliane looked after so well and she was a really lovely waitress made us feel very comfortable. Highly recommending this. And bonus was halal chicken sandwiches included which were really enjoyed!

The perfect anniversary stay!
Pros:

We stayed at The Chesterfield Mayfair to celebrate our anniversary and couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. The location is ideal — quiet and elegant, yet steps from Hyde Park, shopping, and major sights. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and full of classic charm, making it a wonderful place to relax after exploring the city.

The service truly stood out. The staff were warm, attentive, and made our anniversary feel special with thoughtful touches throughout our stay. From breakfast to afternoon tea, everything was excellent.

A beautiful, romantic hotel that made our London anniversary unforgettable. We would absolutely return.

Best hotel ever !
Pros:

Everything ! It is elegant , very clean and in a perfect quiet location . Staff is amazing and super friendly! I have never seen that kind of level in any other hotel .
