Helpful staff, reasonable price, excellent location, clean and comfortable family rooms.
Pros:

The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The price was reasonable, especially considering the excellent location. The rooms were also clean and comfortable, making it a pleasant and convenient place to stay.

Staff could have been friendlier, breakfast was lukewarm and the plates cold. Head waitress was belligerent, disinterested and defensive.
Not enough staff serving in the bar in the evening.

Struttura non all'altezza
Pros:

L'unico punto a favore dell'hotel è la posizione.
Posizionato su Oxford Street e vicino a 2 stazioni della metro comode.

Cons:

1. Camere:
- In tutte le stanze a pavimento c'è la moquette (per fortuna nei bagni è stata sostituita con le piastrelle ma sono sicuro che fino a poco tempo fa anche lì era presente la moquette)
- L'aria condizionata in camera non si può spegnere o modificare in ventilazione normale. Risultato: abbiamo dovuto tenere l'aria condizionata anche di notte e pur mettendola a 27 gradi arrivava aria fredda. Ci siamo tutti ammalati e siamo tornati in Italia con tosse e mal di gola.
2. Colazione:
I prodotti disponibili sono di poca varietà e di bassa qualità, utili a fare grandi volumi. Basti pensare tra le tante cose che i waffle non sono monoporzione ma sono grandi e poi tagliati a metà.
3. Personale:
Non troppo cortese e molto spiccio nei modi. Alle 10 di mattina di lunedì è partito l'allarme antincendio. Siamo in camera con il bambino di 4 anni e preoccupati siamo scesi nella hall (passando attraverso le porte antincendio automatiche che si erano chiuse). Nella hall dicono che lo fanno tutti i lunedì come indicato nello schermo dietro di loro, ma nello schermo non c'era nulla e quindi il receptionist si è allontanato un pò imbarazzato.
La colazione dovrebbe essere dalle 7 alle 11, ma una mattina alle 10.30 hanno spento tutto e portato via il mangiare dicendo che dal lunedì al venerdì chiudono alle 10.30.
Per finire, qualcuno alla reception provvedeva ogni giorno a cancellare i nostri badge lasciandoci fuori stanza e dovendo tornare alla reception a farli riattivare.
4. Moquette:
Non solo nelle camere, ma anche in tutte le zone comuni è presente la moquette. Nei corridoi, nella sala colazione, al bar, al ristorante. Gli unici luoghi dove non c'è la moquette sono i bagni (per fortuna!) e la reception.
5. Entrata dell'albergo
La hall si trova al primo piano e per entrare nell'albergo bisogna entrare dal retro del palazzo.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Thistle.
Pros:

I stayed in the Thistle before and like back then the whole experience was great. Staff were chatty and very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was very tasty and the room was spotless.

Cons:

There was nothing about the hotel I didn't like.

I enjoyed my stay.
Pros:

Comfortable & friendly staff. Had Starbucks on the lobby - convenient.
