Marriott Jacksonville

I was BLOWN AWAY by the bistro and bar. My partner and I sat with Amy, and meeting someone like her is honestly, once in a lifetime. She was attentive, professional (as I expect at a Marriott- this is NOT a Hilton!) and above all she made my whole stay in Jacksonville Brilliant. Susan, the waitress, was hilarious and remembered things from my previous stay. The staff here has the southern hospitality and charm that always has my partner and I itching for our next vacation! We love you gals!

Everyone, especially Haley, at the front desk, was super helpful and nice.
The gym was surprisingly well equipped, with a few benches, a few sets of dumbbells, machines, even a smith machine.
The rooms were clean, although the bathroom shower door could use a better scrubbing. The hallways also need vacuuming.

Haley went out of her way to make sure coffee was ready bright and early. From check in to check out everyone was exceptional
Great staff and hotel

I stayed at the Marriott Jacksonville before a trip to the Mayo Clinic. This is a great location! The rooms are very very clean and spacious. I was greeted by Matt at the front desk, what a great way to start my visit. I am Titanium for life at Marriott so I have stayed in quite a few Marriott's in my day. Matt's greeting was genuine and very welcoming, we had a nice chat.
We decided to stay in the hotel for dinner and had a great dinner. We both ordered hamburgers and were very pleased. The best part about dinner was our server, Susan. What a nice person and great service!
My hat's off to both Matt and Susan, thanks for a great stay. If I am back in Jacksonville, both of them will see me again!

Our stay included the few days before and after Christmas, so I didn’t know how it would feel to be in a hotel for the holiday. However, the staff made us feel like family with the personal attention they gave us! Ashlee, Jamie, and Izzy greeted us every time we walked in the door, and the people working in the bar area were so friendly. My priority in a hotel is cleanliness, and I must say that it was the cleanest I ever stayed in. Our housekeeper Emmire was absolutely amazing! Clearly her standards for cleanliness are superior. Even the grout on the tiled bathroom area floors were immaculate! She was so sweet and friendly and provided extra coffee for us. We appreciate everything the staff did for us and will not hesitate to return!

Great stay! Weather was colder than normal and the air was blowing only cold air. Curtis in engineering came up and worked to get the heat running. He came 2 minutes after I rang the front desk. He checked back after ten minutes to make sure the air was warm. He went above and beyond to make my room comfortable.

I was there for a business conference. There was plenty of table space and the room was comfortable. The AV worked efficiently and I could hear and understand the presenter clearly. The lunch was delicious and overall a great experience. Thank you

Hotel is very clean. Seems to have been remodeled recently. Located tucked away from the hustle and bustle near I-95. Very close by to ascension St. Vincent which is why we chose this property. The feather pillows were uncomfortable for myself and my husband and the mattress was lumpy but adequate. Hard to find a comfortable bed at a hotel these days. The digital key also did not work. Despite all this the cleanliness of the hotel made up for the other issues.

Have stayed at Marriott Jax many times. Today I had an issue with the AC in my room and Curtis was wonderful helping me fix the problem quickly and kindly. Thankfully saved me from a night without air. Much appreciated!

The heat not working in my room. Called front desk and Curtis was at my door within a couple of minutes. Knew right away what the problem was and fixed.
Curtis also brought a heater and blanket.
Great guy!

This was a last minute stay when my usual Marriott was fully booked. Matt, Amari and Izzy were at the front desk and were incredibly friendly. They were super efficient and still spent time just chatting with me about where I was coming from (Indiana) and the reason for my visit. Matt gave me suggestions for where to for for a late dinner. The room was great as well. Very clean and quiet! I will be back.

Amy, Lynette and Susan are a dream team! They are so awesome. I was here for work and they took great care of me at the restaurant. Chef Andre was also incredible and the food was just a good as the service.

We stayed at the Marriott Jacksonville, and from the very first moment we called the hotel and spoke to the friendliest representative, Amari, we were sold on this hotel. We had actually called other Marriott properties but were not greeted with near the warm and friendly tone as Amari. She sold us, and we were not disappointed. This is a beautiful property, very clean and updated with a welcoming restaurant that has a diverse menu. We love it and we love Amari.

Stayed here several weeks in a row. No hot water available several days per week for me and my colleagues. Had cold showers for days

We stay at this hotel once or twice a month for business and always stop by the bar at night. Service is always phenomenal which keeps us coming back. Recommended!

This was my first time in Jacksonville, and it was amazing! The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. I always talk to people and make conversation, and I ended up having almost 30 minute conversation every time with the Receptionists. They were so kind and inviting, and just had a genuine good energy and character. I felt like I could hang out there all day and be happy. Even at 0400 when I came down very tired, they greeted me with such beautiful smiles and I instantly felt more awake and ready to start my day. Lenard, Haley, and Diana deserve endless praise, and I will absolutely be recommending with Marion to anyone staying in/near Jacksonville.
