The staff here is wonderful. Love the ladies at the front desk, helpful and sweet. Made me feel very welcomed
I don’t think this property is a 4-star. There were stains on walls and furniture in the room. There was a very weird sewer smell in the bathroom
The night crew at the desk was excellent. Our incoming flight was late and we did not arrive until 1:00 am. Not much time to use any facilities as we were out early.
Good location
Hotel looks tired inside, could do with upgrading
Todo
Café en la mañana muy simple la mesa café
The staff were friendly and the rooms were fine, nothing remarkable. The food was not good. We were part of a group and had a buffet dinner we paid separately for and a complimentary breakfast. The food was tasteless and very poor variety….plain pasta, fettuccine noodle or rigatoni noodle, a watery tasteless white sauce or a red sauce, and salad. For dessert there was cake. Very poor showing. They did have a shuttle from the airport which was a plus. Ultimately, the whole experience with the food tainted the hotel experience.
If you’re wishing for an unclean, worn, tired property, this is the place for you. No doubt the rooms were great when they were refurbished in 1993.
Bar was full of in-bussed tables/bar spots at 9:30 pm. Had to ask server to wipe down a dirty table when we arrived.
The only saving grace was an efficient airport shuttle and kind/efficient staff. But they can’t overcome a dump.
Convenient
All good
all good
Beds were really great...firm and fluffy on top. Housekeeping very nice.
But the windows so filthy ( pictured) !! I literally had a gag response to them and had to keep the curtains closed for our stay.
Front desk often overwhelmed. A hot Houston day. Was going to use the pool but not a single umbrella or bit of shade. So passed. Did not seem like a hotel at this high price point.
In-house bar/ restaurant is reasonable and quite good.

I had a great stay at Sheraton North Houston, especially after a stressful situation caused by my flight cancellation.
Ms. Shiva at the front desk last night was outstanding. She showed real professionalism, understanding, and kindness, and truly went above and beyond to help me when I was extremely exhausted.
This morning, Ms. Naomi was equally wonderful — very welcoming, positive, and helpful. Her attitude made my experience even better.
I would also like to commend the hotel management for building such a professional and service-oriented team. Highly recommended.
Llegué al hotel me dijeron que no había habitaciones, me conecté a internet y por esta web resulta que si había varias disponibles. Me pareció que el personal no quiso ayudarme con una habitación.
The location was good compared to being close to the airport
It took 10 minutes for the water to get hot. Once it did get hot it never stayed hot. I was told because I was on the fifth floor it takes time for the hot water to get to me. In the morning when I woke up, I went to the bathroom and the toilet wouldn’t flush and the room had dust mites in the carpet.
I stay here often going back and forth to Costa Rica. It convenient and good shuttle service. Leave my truck and security is driving around. Good food. Love it this time because they up graded me to a suite. Nice for my Service Dog to have more room. I will be back !!

Room and hotel staff were very nice and friendly however the shuttle driver on 11/30 at 4am wasn’t very friendly. He had airline crew standing outside in the cold from 3:45. -3:58 stating he had 9 mins until he could let us in the shuttle . Then proceed to allow regular airline passengers load their 10 bags onboard shuttle first when airline staff was supposed to be assisted first via the signage post on outside of shuttle .
I came to Houston for a social event held at this hotel. The location is excellent for an event bringing in people from all over, as it is a short distance from Houston International Airport (IAH) and the hotel offers a free shuttle service in both directions. Of course, in Houston a “short distance” is relative, meaning at least ten minutes driving.
The hotel staff go out of their way to help and do so cheerfully. The rooms are nicely furnished and decorated, with very comfortable beds. The bar/restaurant on the lobby floor has a fine basic menu and a well-appointed bar, including a good on-tap selection. There’s no problem taking food and drinks into the lobby if you want to relax on a comfy sofa with friends.
There are some items that need improvement, which is why I gave the hotel 4 rather than 5 stars. The elevators were slow and quirky (that was the most significant problem). The elevators’ card readers were a bit temperamental, and there was a problem (eventually solved) programming the key cards to access the floor on which most of the event’s parties were held.
If it’s possible constructionwise to enlarge the main room in the hospitality suites to better accommodate a sizable crowd, that would be a great upgrade. Some of the mechanical infrastructure could do with an upgrade as well: my guest room was stuffy any time the HVAC was turned off and the temperature controls weren’t accurate; my door lock was a bit weird (I had to turn the inside door handle to disengage the bolt when closing the door); the hot water taps in the bathroom supplied warm but never hot water.
Except perhaps for enlarging the main room in the hospitality suites, fixing these seems readily doable. But overall, I had a very pleasant stay at this property.
