Dirty, small old room that smelled musty. Dental floss stuck to shower wall. Tooth paste residual and black curly hair in sick. At 0930 asked for early check in and was told it as occupied but put in “Que” and would be called when ready. At 1514 asked at desk about room was told it was done, waiting for inspection, We did not get into room until after 1600. The night of 3/17 it was cold and rainy, didn’t want to sit at poolside, so choose to eat inside. Wreck bar closed, and so was dining room. So ate at the lobby bar. Male bartender and the two females at the front desk were very grumpy and rude. We’ve been coming here off and on for 20 years. Watching services and quality go down each year, but this was worse by far.

Pros:

I like the location of the hotel. The oceanfront view was everything!!!! The rooms and interior of the hotel was clean. Valet parking was attentive and professional.

Cons:

I didn't like that there were no microwaves in the rooms. Had to eat cold leftovers. The receptionist that checked us in could use some customer service skills. He didn't greet us or smile. He acted like he didn't want to be bothered. He had trouble finding our reservation and wasn't sympathetic. Had booking.com to call the hotel plus showed an email of confirmation.

Recommend staying elsewhere
Cons:

Rooms and buildings were not maintained well. The rooms needed some serious tlc and did not compare to any other 4 star hotel I have stayed at.

There is beachside service but it was not staffed well. The sand bar was closed during spring break week which doesnt make sense for the amount of people staying at the hotel. The pool was also very cramped and understaffed.

Seems like the staff are doing the best they can and the location was nice but I would not stay again or recommend.

Ants in the room . Rug not vacuumed. Forgot washcloths. Very loud club music playing everywhere starting at 730 am. Didn't accept cash for anything. Could not go to breakfast and order off the menu, buffet only at 32.00 per person. Mandatory resort fee for using their chairs at beach and pool.. 45 per day. Umbrellas were not included in the price, additional 35. Dollars per umbrella per day. Starbucks in hotel but they would not accept my gift card I had .

My stay was terrible!!!! I would never stay there again!!!!!

Lighting in the room was extremely dim. The water at the sink did not get hot at all. They sent someone up 2 times to fix it but it was still cold. I had to run the shower for hot water to wash my face and hands. The weekend I was there it was cold outside. At night I had the heat up to 78 and it was still cold in the room. Resort needs to be updated!!!!!

But I do not like about the property is that I paid $1000 for three days and only got to use half of the facility on Saturday for half of the day due to a wedding which I find is outrageously not cool and we should’ve all been notified about that and given some sort of compensation happen to stop in my room did not even work half of the lights didn’t work. The charging stations didn’t work totally uncalled for.

I wish we could have stayed longer than one night.
Pros:

The location was great and the room was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.

Cons:

The A/C was very very cold in the lobby and near the elevators.

Cons:

That you had to pay from umbrella I feel that should be included in your stay The price of the drinks were a bit expensive but still enjoyed them very much !!

AVOID unless you like paying for overpriced food and no service
Pros:

The check out clerk was nice, the beds were alright.

Cons:

So many things to not like. We will not be going back. $4 a chicken wing for grossly overcooked food. The dinner special of the night was inedible and $28 a plate. The waitress took away both plates with barely anything eaten from without even asking how we enjoyed our meal. We should have pushed more to ask for the plates that were not eaten to be taken off the menu but we were absolutely exhausted at this point. Then to top it off... 18% forced gratuity for a party of 2 and an additional line on the receipt for an additional tip. The entire lobby was super loud with music so we could not even try to enjoy a nice drink at the bar. The pool was closed for a wedding with no notice until we went to check in. The shower was very slow draining so we were standing in a shower that was pretty much a bath. The air conditioner was unable to keep up and even outputting hot air at the end of our stay.
