Nice Hotel - lovely pool & beach
Pros:

Nice, modern, clean Hotel out the way of main Rio.
Secluded beachfront which drew us to book here.
Food at the Pool restaurant was excellent.
Room was lovely and the gave us a complimentary upgrade which we were grateful for. The view was very good with the pool, sea & Christ the Redeemer in view.
Italian restaurant on site was delicious.

Cons:

We arrived at 11.30pm to check in. When we got into the room the connecting door to the room next door was unlocked. So was the other rooms door. We rang Guest Services and it took them until 1.20am to send someone to lock it. Not ideal!

Cleaner would often miss towels/bathrobe and we would have to call Guest Services multiple times during our stay to have them delivered to the room or go to reception to get them. Often we would have to call 2 or 3 times (hours between calls at times!) about the same thing until someone arrived.

Be aware that on top of your room cost you will be charged 5 different extra charges per day. Rio toursim tax, resort fee, city tax, daily service fee & daily ISS. We clearly hadn't read this before booking so were a little shocked to get our bill.

Pros:

O atendimento na recepção e no concierge foi muito bom, extremamente atenciosos. No restaurante Casa da Cachaça também, atendimento rápido, qualidade muito boa da comida e preço justo. A limpeza do hotel também destaca-se.

Cons:

O atendimento no bar da piscina deixou a desejar. Demorava muito tempo para chegarem os pedidos. Tínhamos que ficar correndo atrás dos garçons para anotarem nossos pedidos. Não havia nem música ambiente no local.

Fiquei frustrado.
Pros:

Eu vou já tem um tempo pra o mesmo hotel, no geral, gosto do atendimento de todos.

Cons:

Infraestrutura. Meu quarto no 25 andar não funcionava o chuveiro direito. Ou muito quente, ou muito frio. Pouca pressão e oscilação de quantidade de água. Não é a primeira vez que isso acontece. Além disso, passei 30 minutos de pé na recepção para fazer o checkin que já estava reservado e pré autorizado.

Buena ubicación pero caro para el servicio que dan
Pros:

Buena piscina y una playa practicamente privada. Desayuno bien completo. En general es un buen hotel pero con mal servicio. La piscina muy buena, pero el servicio alrededor malo por lo que arruina toda la experiencia.

Cons:

Muy mal servicio, en mi habitación que estaba en el ultimo piso, habían unos ruidos de noche por algo del techo, llame al lobby, bajé incluso y hasta mandé un correo y no respondieron nada. Los servicios de comida en la piscina eran lentos y malo, no se sentia que la gente hacia su trabajo a gusto.

We truly enjoyed the location and view!
Pros:

The breakfast was full of options and the service was very good. The bar has beautiful views with large lounge chairs and a perfect view. The complimentary caipirinhas were a nice welcome. The beds were comfortable and cozy.

Cons:

Upon check-in we were told that we would receive an email when our room was ready and we did not. Once we arrived at our room we immediately noticed that we did not receive the king room with a mountain view for which we had paid. Staff did rectify this immediately with a much better view that was Not the parking lot. Once we decided to extend our stay, and rebooked for 3 more nights, we were Not offered the complimentary 2 caipirinhas. Upon check-out, José noticed that we were checking out at night and very kindly offered to just charge a late check-out fee, as opposed to paying the entire night when we were out by 8:45 p.m. That would have been a really nice touch had another colleague not come out and proceedef to charge us for the entire night. That was Extremely Disappointing.
