Good value for money compared with other sea front properties in Rio de Janeiro
Pros:

We had a seafront room on the 15th floor and could see for miles.
The rooftop bar had a fantastic view
The beach bar was excellent for people watching.

Cons:

The breakfast room felt like a school gym
People claimed the sunbeds in the roof top bar and stayed until sundown.

Szép szálloda, kicsit távolabb a forgatagtól.

Kicsit távolabb a nyüzsgő strandok forgatagától, saját stranddal, partszakasszal rendelkező szálloda. De megérte az a 10 perc többlet utazás. Kívül és a közösségi területek elegánsak. A szobákra ráférne egy felújítás - például padlószőnyeg. (16. emelet). De a tisztaság, takarítás tökéletes. A szoba tágas és kényelmes. A személyzet nagyon udvarias és segítőkész. A panoráma csodálatos. A két ikonikus hegy mellett. A reggeli nagyon finom és változatos. Az ebéd és vacsora is megoldható. A saját strand meg szenzációs, több sós vizes medence, de aki akar lemehet a homokba is, mert van saját napernyő és szék. Jó felszereltség, törölközők, napágyak, még habúszógumi is. Animáció. A szálloda előtt mindig elérhető privát transzfer, ami sokszor jól jött, mert az uberesek nem akarnak erre jönni a dugók miatt. Nagyon jó napokat töltöttünk itt.

Cons:

A fürdőszobák nem alkalmasak a nőknek a tisztálkodásra. A fentről jövő zuhany miatt nehéz mindenhol rendesen megmosakodni és ezen a bidé sem segít, mert fix ponton jön a víz, így az embernek kell ide-oda csúszkálni, ha rendes munkát akar végezni. Ráadásul külön hideg-meleg vizes csapok, hol lefagyasztottam, hol megégettem magam. Tudom, hogy Braziliában ez a módi, de modernizálhatnák keverős csaptelepekkel, kézi irányítású vízsugaras zuhannyal, bidével.

Pros:

In Rio’s Sheraton we took a stay,
gold membership let upgrades be in sight;
yet status faded quickly into grey,
and no perk justified the price as right.

The lady at the desk, with frosty grace,
had all the warmth of rules carved into stone—
like one who guards a library in place,
assumed a rather domineering tone.

Her welcome froze before it could begin,
a look that disciplined both joy and cheer;
one almost felt it might be quite a sin
To ask for help—or simply to be here.

The first room offered? Frankly, quite a feat—
rather crumbling charm, with hairs left in the loo;
declined at once—no guest should have to meet
such relics of whoever stayed before you.

Thus to a second room we were conveyed,
where most of this fine tale would soon unfold:
a safe that didn’t work, decor decayed—
a “Grand” experience, though rather old.

The bedding, too, told stories best untold,
with stains that clearly had a past to share.
A second colleague’s answer seemed quite bold:
He’d fix it all—how sorry he was there.
He’d personally ensure it would be done—
a promise noble, earnest, and so clear.
Yet nothing changed… until a third was won
to intervene and make clean sheets appear.

The switches wore a film of subtle grime,
The glassware bore toothpaste from guests before;
Small details, yes—but in their quiet rhyme,
They spoke of care that simply was no more.

Complaints were met with promises quite vague,
then drifted off into some distant void.
A system being hazy, slow, opaque—
while guests become increasingly annoyed.

And yet—not all was bleak within these halls:
Club Lounge’s staff was nice, “Bene”’s team was kind.
Bright moments flickered briefly through it all—
Proof better service can be found inside.

Vacaciones familiares en rio
Pros:

El desayuno era increíble, tenia opciones para todos los gustos (en mu caso soy celiaco). Por otro lado la ubicación era un poco lejana, pero tenían un bus que salía hacia el mall cada 1 hora, lo que te acercaba mucho al centro.

Cons:

Los ascensores eran un tema, no funcionaban muy bien. En una situación unas personas incluso se quedaron atrapadas en uno de ellos.

El desayuno increíble, la piscina, playa y restaurantes muy buenos.

Cons:

Un poco alejado, aunque se puede ir caminando o en bicicleta en el día a leblon. En la noche no porque es peligroso, solo uber o taxi.
