Great view from the hotel
Pros:

The Japanese room was beautiful. I enjoyed temple style lunch in the cafe within the hotel. The view of Chion-in from the hotel was fabulous.

Good experience but a couple of things can improve
Pros:

Room was great, and bigger than the average in Japan. Clean and comfortable. Hotel offer the chance to go to a Buddhist ceremony in a nearby temple, which is an extraordinary experience.

Cons:

Check-out time is terrible, 10 am seems like a scam for me.

The breakfast is so so

とても快適です。観光地までのアクセスの良さもとても良いと思います。

Cons:

観光都市ですので、ある程度は耐えれますが、大浴場の風呂の中までスマホを持ち込んで、通話しながら入ってる外国籍の方がおられたり、湯船にそのまま直行されてる人などマナーのなさが目立ちました。

安心のお宿
Pros:

祇園まですぐの場所。バス停も近くにあり、歩こうと思えば河原町駅からも歩けます。部屋も広く言うことありません。朝食が和風なのも嬉しいです。

Great place to stay in Kyoto
Pros:

I have stayed in many hotels in Kyoto before but this one was truly special.
The room was spacious and very clean with a nice view on the temple gates.
In the morning, I had a chance to join the service at the temple which was very interesting and educating (I speak Japanese so I had no problem, but English-speaking guests might find it difficult to follow).

Pros:

朝食は素晴らしかったです。コーヒーもとても美味しかったです。スタッフの皆さんはとても良くしてくださいました。和風小物や抹茶等、京都名産が揃ったお土産屋がホテル内にあるのがとても助かりました。

Cons:

強いて言えば、鍵を２つ頂けるとそれぞれに移動するのに良いと思います。

ご利益がある予感！
Pros:

クルマ旅利用。大浴場のある施設を選びました。姉妹2人の利用でしたので、洗面が混雑することもなく快適。館内、清潔で整えられています。和室でしたがふかふかのお布団でした。たまたま月2回の写経会実施日で、参加させて頂きました。朝のおつとめも、お坊さんのいいお話しを伺うことができて、とても新鮮な体験ができました。
