Great stay at the Sheraton SCL
Pros:

I came for a Congress atbthe hotel
The room was big, very comfortable.
The service was great.
The hotel is near two great shopping centers, so that was nice as I did not have time to go to the city centers.
Plenty of nice restaurants in a walking distance.
I would love to gome back !!

Pros:

Hotel is very well located easy to tourist from there, people are very nice and friendly, I love the variety options for breakfast and even I could have my oatmeal with all the seeds and granolas I like. Hotel is close to Costanera Center mall and all the restaurants you can enjoy. Happy to choose it.

The hotel staff are not friendly. The hotel rooms are old and noisy.
I moved a room and forgot a toiletry bag in the previous room and ask housekeeping to fetch it but they said that it was not there. The bag contained my medication and they said that it was not there. Strange that it was not there as it was only a few minutes afterwards and the bag was gone. The staff most certainly took it.

Recommendation for the Sheraton Santiago
Pros:

The property is spotless and well maintained, all the personnel is courteous and eager to help and go out the normal to make you feel welcomed. The bed is comfortable and spotless. The food and attention at the different restaurants are excellent. In short top notch and a bargain for the price.

Pros:

Four of four rooms had non working air conditioners, one had non working phones and a non-working TV set. Even after maintenance looked at the air conditioners, they barely worked keeping the temperature in the room no lower than 27C (80F), far too hot for a good night's sleep.

Other than maintenance issues and upkeep, the hotel is a pretty nice place to stay.

Pros:

Air conditioning not working on a day it was 32degrees centigrade. Sent someone twice to fix and left us with a fan. No offer to change room or compensate us. When I complained the next morning they only said “oh well”

Pros:

We could not turn on the air conditioner, so I called guest services. A maintenance man came up within 5 minutes and got the air conditioner running. We were very grateful.

Enjoyed our stay

Enjoyed our stay here. Obviously the hotel is American in style, it did seem a little dated but the rooms were good, clean and with an excellent view. Check in was slow with a queue but staff were pleasant and helpful. The pool is lovely and we enjoyed relaxing there, the pool food service was excellent though the towel service was poor and unfriendly. Signposting and information in the hotel seems to be lacking, we had to ask for the Club lounge and hunt down various other areas, we could not find restaurant menus online and the concierge could not offer us any when we were trying to decide where to eat. I am happy to give this hotel full marks as it is good and we enjoyed our time here but I do feel that some aspects would benefit from attention.
