My stay at Kanvaz was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, every member of staff greeted me with warmth and kindness.
My room wasn’t quite ready when I checked in, but I was invited to enjoy a coffee in the tea room while I waited. The staff immediately contacted housekeeping, and within 10 minutes someone came to escort me to my room, which was greatly appreciated.
I stayed in a Lagoon Pool Access Room, and it was wonderful. The room enjoyed sunshine until at least 3pm each day, making it the perfect place to relax. The only minor drawback was that the rooms don’t offer a great deal of privacy, as guests in the opposite rooms can see straight through. However, this wasn’t a major issue for me.
The food was outstanding. I enjoyed several evening meals in the restaurant, and every dish was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The restaurant staff were equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in hearing about my trip, which added a very personal touch to the experience.
The rooftop pool is where I spent most of my time. It was pleasantly quiet during the day, often feeling like my own private retreat. Once again, the staff were fantastic, regularly bringing drinks and food directly to my sunbed and ensuring I was well looked after.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return. If I’m ever back in Bali, Kanvaz will definitely be at the top of my list.
The only aspects of my stay that I didn’t particularly enjoy related to communication and interruptions.
On one occasion, I spoke with reception because I was due to leave for an excursion at 2:30am and would miss breakfast. We agreed that some food would be kept for me to collect from the lobby when I returned at 12pm. However, I received a call to my room at 1am asking me to collect the food, which woke me much earlier than I had planned. As my excursion departure was already very early, I was disappointed to be disturbed and unfortunately struggled to get back to sleep. To their credit, the team did kindly keep the food for me until my return as originally arranged.
Following the trip, I placed my room on Do Not Disturb as I wanted to catch up on some sleep/rest. Despite this, I received a WhatsApp message asking whether I would like my room cleaned. While I appreciate that the staff were trying to be helpful, I felt this somewhat defeated the purpose of having the Do Not Disturb sign on. I went to relax by the pool to avoid further interruptions, which was a little frustrating.
These were relatively minor issues in what was otherwise a fantastic stay, but I felt they were worth mentioning as they slightly impacted my experience.
We liked the entire experience. One must not miss on the exceptional breakfast and evening swim in the resort's pool. Location is super convenient:)

Central location, beautiful modern hotel. Room was spacious with lagoon access. It’s waking distance to many restaurants cafes and spas.
Pillows were a bit hard but other than that excellent overall.

I’m very picky with hotels, and I’m a complete clean freak. I took 3 weeks to find a hotel for 3 nights in Bali, and finally landed on Kanvaz after all it’s great reviews.
I landed at 8am and they generously let me check-in, and the room was spotless. Everything from clean linens, spotless bathroom, shower with good temperature + pressure, no notes. For someone paranoid about mold, this hotel was such a relief for me.
The pool was great, and the location is superb with a lot of restaurants to eat from, beach clubs, and more.
The standout is the breakfast. I rave about Bali’s Hilton Resort breakfast, but this came to a close second with amazing fruits, egg station, noodles, salad bar, and juice station.
We liked it so much, we extended our stay.
I hope my photos do it justice, but I will definitely be back! The staff are just a standout as well.

We liked the overall stay at the property. Staff are all friendly and accommodating. Location is at the heart of Seminyak and just nearby good shops and spas. We'll definitely come back. The direct room access to the pool and close to the restaurant has been our favorite. My 18 months old baby enjoyed her daily swim as there is part of the pool that is just suitable for babies/toddlers.
