Pros:

I have no idea why the ratings are so low...? The location is great - several good family-run restaurants within a few mins walk, free shuttle to the airport, etc. It's great for an overnight (or 2) stop. The pool is lovely and heats up to a very pleasant temperature by early afternoon. The gym is also very good. Lively bar. Rooms: typical comfy American style - 2 big beds with everything you need. Air-conditioned. Can hear some doors slam from other rooms once in a while, but rally not bad. I stayed here 3 times during August. Would return again if laying over at LAX.

Cons:

They charge extra for early check-in or late checkout. Reasonable considering it's an airport hotel, but I don't have to like it :) At least they offer different fees for number of hours early/late - so it is flexible.

Bon hôtel pour une courte étape en transit
Pros:

Hôtel à proximité de l'aéroport. Navette gratuite pour l'aéroport toutes les 20 minutes. Pratique pour récupérer quelques heures lors d'une escale à LA. Avec Air France, les bagages suivent jusqu'à Papeete. Il est donc inutile de les récupérer à LA. Quelques heures de repos à l'hôtel pour dormir (petite sieste) permet d'atténuer un peu le décalage horaire. Présence d'une belle piscine pour se détendre avant de repartir.

Cons:

Hôtel un peu vieillot, mais suffisant pour une courte escale. La chambre n'est théoriquement disponible qu'à partir de 16H mais la réception nous l'a laissée à partir de 14H.

I already sent it above your shit off for a little bit more or points to use toward night stay
Pros:

I think for the money you could’ve offered a little bit more. For instance, the basic breakfast would’ve been nice or some kind of shuttle to Union Station understanding further but it’s still a location that is you like being by LAX in the carpets are not the best

But I did like the basic interior and the gym and staff

Pros:

It was clean and comfortable. We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and it had a shuttle. I have to give high praise to the shuttle driver, i am handicapped and walk with crutches, the steps into the shuttle were a bit tall and my knees don't bend very well, he was very helpful and suggested using the handicap ramp to get in. I was very relieved to be able to use this and not attempt the steps. He also used it to get me out at our stop in the airport. He was so nice and helpful.
