Pros:

It’s a beautiful hotel! The room was clean and really nice. The staff were so amazing and the restaurant was phenomenal. this is where we will be staying every year for ren faire

Per Diem the restaurant in site … bartender that was there for the first two nights we stayed wasn’t my favorite he asked us what we wanted and walked away and forgot about us so bad taste in my mouth for the bar but the hotel was excellent

Fantastic, Clean, Friendly Joint
Pros:

I give five stars and I’ve never done that in my life. I’m not giving it five stars because it’s Mandarin Oriental level, but because it’s amazing for the price and amenities offered. The staff were incredibly friendly and offered to print out any materials I needed in color or black and white if I didn’t want to bother with the printer and computer that was sitting 20 feet away. When we extended our stay, the front desk matched the lowest offer available without me asking. The bar made great drinks; the late night menu had children’s options of big chicken strips. The small grocery area offered milk. Imagine milk for sale at a hotel with large family clientele!

The brunch menu had kid’s options of waffles, French toast, and pancakes, which delighted my children and were really quite good. The pool and hot tub were immaculate and the hot tub was hot. Both were at lobby level. Pool towels were substantial.

The cleaning staff offered to change sheets daily.

I offered to move my kids to a hotel closer to Hershey Park with waterslides inside the hotel, but I showed them that the reviews were much worse. They declined and said they really liked this hotel.

The hotel caters to the work crews building soundstages at the famed Rock Lilitz. So the vibe is a mix of families and highly-skilled technicians with a cool Rock edge.

The coffee was good, but not Brooklyn barista level. I recommended that they try stocking Cometeer frozen capsules.
