Kris or Chris (beard front desk) was absolutely wonderful and I cannot give him enough kudos. When we checked in he was kind, courteous and helpful in every way. It is so nice to be greeted and assisted by someone so friendly & cheerful. 4pm in the afternoon.
Unfortunately we had "neighbors" next door that it took 2 phone calls to front desk at 10:15pm, 10:45pm, and walk down to the front desk at 11:30pm (and this was a very kind woman) to get them to FINALLY shut down their party & music. When you pay over $400 a night for a room you have a high level of expectations from the hotel to do their part to help quiet down the party. I asked on the first phone call what time do you expect things to be "quiet?" The gentleman said "10pm - 7am are quiet hours." I felt like I had people in my room...that my bed was in the middle of the party...that is how loud they were. NOT ACCEPTABLE
This is typical Marriott experience. Neither outstanding nor bad. Being Titanium Bonvoy Member, it is easy to see the really big differentiators, whether really great or very bad. Here it is sold 3-3.5 out of 5. The location is not bad, but not ideal. It is pleasant water facing property, but 2 miles from historic center. Need car to drive or grab Lyft/Uber. The service was friendly and generally fine. The complimentary breakfast in the Lounge was "mew", nothing good. The hotel building and common areas are nothing special, dated too. The rooms are ok, not particularly large and old, but clean and adequately appointed. Bathrooms are on a smaller and older side. The rate was moderate. Another typical US city Marriott, nothing mode to add here.
Friendly and easy check in, used valet parking. Entire facility undergoing renovations. Room was adequate however small, nice useable porch off the room. Nice M Club for light hors d'oeuvres in the evening and good breakfast in the morning, great staff here. The on-site restaurant is really good in the lobby bar is fun. If you need a specialty coffee they got you covered. Nice outdoor setting areas and pool.
Clean-coffee on site
The staff was not very informative. Didn’t tell what side the room was on So we would know closest place to Park. No instruction to use the card key on the elevator. didn’t give me a total for the charge on the room till checkout.
My brother and I are visiting from out of state and we were looking for a good Roof-Top bar to get to. Jace immediately was welcoming and helped us figure everything out and got us to the bar. Hard to complain about that
We booked this hotel on the recommendation of a good friend. Even though the hotel was going through some renovations, it was a great stay. The staff at the front desk and the staff in the restaurants were excellent.
Reasonably good stay. I am a Marriott Ambassador who has stayed many times at this property. They have dropped the complementary buffet breakfast for titanium and above members- that’s a bummer. They have also dropped the price for the buffet to 18.95. And you get what you pay for. It’s VERY basic.
On the bright side, Brandon in the valet parking/bellman position is a total gem and goes above and beyond.
No spa at this property.
Very friendly and helpful staff, the pool area is beautiful. The lobby has a nice view of the river. Parking is in the back of the hotel, the extra cost for valet is likely worth it.
Everything was fine.
We had a great girls trip! The staff was wonderful! They helped us with everything we needed! Definitely will stay here again!
Jace was our bellhop and he did an amazing job! He greeted us with a warm welcome and offer to grab a cart. And then of course loaded all of our luggage, and then unload it back in the room. Professional, well dressed and made for a great experience!
Very outdated and needs a lot of work. You get nothing like water or coffee in your room. Our room key quit working on average 4 times a day. People at the desk are just there to do their jobs. Not a lot to do in the area.
The best thing about this hotel was Mark, the bartender—he gave me gasoline!! 🤣
Excellent service, great to talk to and easy on the eyes!
We just had one quick overnight stay. It was a perfect stay. The room was clean and views were incredible. The rooftop bar closed early. Breakfast was part of our concierge and was a nice option also so snacks and 14 story views.
Staff were very accommodating. We were having a tropical storm at the time.
A very clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, wonderful shower products
Beautiful property. The staff was exceptional from every person I encountered. Such a wonderful place to stay. I have already recommended to friends planning to visit.
We have been treated like royalty, I have Parkinson’s and when we arrived we went to check in and we were treated to a Penthouse room and then when we got to the wonderful room my foot began to cramp so that I couldn’t walk, we called down and a young man named Jace was up with a wheelchair in no time. He took us down to the pickup spot where we caught our uber and he wouldn’t take a tip . Great service and above and beyond.
Very friendly check-in staff. Nice towels and linens.
Carpet in room had ridge, possible trip hazard.
