Pros:

Die Lage ist top, toller Ausblick auf die Hopfenfelder und den Wald vom Balkon aus. Die Einrichtung ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und gepflegt und hat durchaus ihren Charme. Preisleistungsverhältnis ist auf jeden Fall als gut zu bezeichnen. Als sehr positiv zu erwähnen sei noch der kleine Kühlschrank, der mir gute Dienste für Mitbringsel aus Frankreich erwiesen hat und für diesen Preis nicht selbstverständich ist. Hab mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt und spontan um eine Nacht verlängert.

Pieni hotelli, pienessä kylässä. Respa oli mennyt jo kiinni, mutta ystävällinen iäkkäämpi nainen tuli nopeasti paikalle kun soitimme ovella olevaan numeroon. Vanhempi hotelli, mutta kaikki oli siistiä. Iso parveke josta katselimme läheiselle vuorelle ja odottelimme ukkosilman saapumista sateen suojassa. Ei palveluita hotellissa eikä ihan vieressä. Huoneessa oli jääkaappi. Aamupala oli runsas.

echt ouderwets triestig hotel - klaar voor de sloop

Cons:

Bij de boeking had ik vooraf expliciet gevraagd of mijn elektrische fiets ’s nachts veilig kon worden gestald en of de batterij kon worden opgeladen. Per e-mail kreeg ik duidelijk antwoord dat de fiets niet binnen kon worden geplaatst, maar dat ik de batterijen wel mee naar de kamer mocht nemen om daar op te laden.
Bij mijn aankomst heb ik deze vraag nogmaals gesteld aan de zaakvoerder. Tot mijn grote verbazing bleek ik plots €10 extra te moeten betalen voor het stallen van de fiets in de garage, aangevuld met nog eens €5 voor het opladen van de batterij. Dit terwijl het effectieve elektriciteitsverbruik van een fietsbatterij hooguit max 45 cent kost voor het laden van 1 Kw).
Het feit dat hierover vooraf met geen woord werd gerept en de kosten pas bij aankomst werden opgelegd, ervaar ik als pure afzetterij. Wat eerst werd voorgesteld als een praktische oplossing, veranderde ter plaatse plots in een extra verdienmodel. Een dergelijke handelswijze getuigt allerminst van transparantie of klantvriendelijkheid en voelt als diefstal bij klaarlichte dag.

So wie ich es mir vorher erhoffte

Helles Zimmer mit tollem Balkon und kleinem Kühlschrank. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit guter Auswahl, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Heller Frühstücksraum mit schönem Ausblick. Sehr netter Kontakt zu den Besitzern. Nachts sehr ruhig. Sehr gutes Parkplatzangebot. Man ist schnell in Luxemburg.

Worth it if one is after a cheap stay

Leuk duits hotelletje.
Pros:

Leuk hotel om te overnachten. Vriendelijke gastvrouw. Goed ontbijt. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf balkon. Koelkastje op kamer. Met een kwartiertje zit je in Luxemburg. Eigen parkeerplaats.

Pros:

The Hotel Europe is a simple and nice choice if you find yourself in the area with no big demands. My partner and I were there to go hiking and wanted a place with all the necessities, clean and not too pricy. Hotel Europa is exactly this. Beautiful view from the room

Endroit calme et reposant bon en qualité prix
Pros:

Malgré la barrière de la langue, nous avons pu échanger quelques mots avec Madame ; son sourire et sa serviabilité nous a mis à l'aise dès le début de notre séjour.
La chambre avec salle de bain privative était correcte.
Le petit déjeuner était copieux et varié.
Nous y retournerons volontiers.

Schöne Lage mit Blick auf Wiesen und Hopfen. Der Frühstücksraum mit einem guten Büffet. Eine sehr freundliche Wirtin.

Cons:

Die verlangte Gebühr in Höhe von 5.-€ zur Aufladung eines Fahrradakkus ist eine ebensolche Zumutung wie der 3%-Aufschlag bei Kartenzahlung. Unsere Barzahlung wurde quittungslos entgegengenommen. Der unfreundliche Wirt vermittelte nicht den Eindruck, dass sich Gäste willkommen fühlen sollen.

Pros:

De locatie was perfect om wandelingen te doen en het was heel rustig, lekker geslapen met goede matrassen . En het ontbijt was lekker en meer dan genoeg met vriendelijk personeel . Het uitzicht was mooi vanaf ons balkon op de natuur
