Cons:

Ac didn't work. Paid for breakfast in my reservation and then was told I had too pay again when I went to go have breakfast. And then told I could wait to speak to a manager on Monday. What a joke

Cruise Week Review
Pros:

I really appreciated how kind the hotel staff is with accommodating requests as well as how welcomed they made my guests and I feel. The rooms were well stocked and clean. The location was fantastic for cruise week as well since it was so close to gas stations and the convention center.

Cons:

I didn't like how when events are going on at the conference center, you would struggle to find a parking space. A dedicated lot for the conference center would help to mitigate this issue a lot. I had to park across the street for our last day there and it was kinda a bummer.

Writing a review on The ashore hotel:
My husband and I and our daughter staid at the ashore hotel in October for the weekend. I would not recommend staying here. We were suppose to get complimentary breakfast included with our stay. They gave us 4 comp tickets for breakfast. When we went to get breakfast we gave our waiter the tickets and they charged us $20 for our toddler daughter who at half a donut and a couple bites of fruit… I went up to the front desk afterwards and told her our room was suppose to include complimentary breakfast but they still charged us $20. And she said our room only included 2 free breakfast meals even though three people were staying in the room, ridiculous. Then we had a barking dog across the hall that was nonstop barking, we called and complained about the dog barking because it was barking for hours on end and disturbing our daughter’s sleep. And they said we’ll see what we can do. The customer service was terrible. And all of the common areas (lobby, buffet, restaurant) were so unbelievably humid, it felt like the AC wasn’t even on, very uncomfortable. Saturday evening we came home from the boardwalk and there was absolutely no parking. They had a wedding going on and people who weren’t even staying at the hotel took up the hotel parking spots. I am pregnant and we have a toddler and we had to park across the street because the parking lot is so small. Highly do not recommend staying here. We paid over $600 in October to stay here for the weekend and it definitely was not worth the money. I would not stay here again.

Pros:

Nice hotel. Clean, friendly staff.

Cons:

We chose this hotel because of the convenience of the restaurants. 2 of the advertised restaurants were closed for private event, one for remodel. We were notified of the remodel, however, not the event. The bass from the event was also disruptive.

Nice hotel but needs to be better
Pros:

I’ve stayed at this hotel for many years when it was the Sheraton & the Clarion. The room was nice but the shower was terrible. A partial glass door that led to water spillage all over floor & there was not a ledge to put my gout to shave my legs. There were only 2 towels

Cons:

The $25 a day parking fee was unacceptable & because of it I will never stay here again

Great location, the staff were amazing in every part and really enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

The only thing that I did not like is that you can’t sit out on their balconies. There’s enough room for one year only because they are so small.

I ordered an ocean view and the rooms are on the side of the building and there really isn’t an ocean view and the balcony are so small you can’t even sit out there .. but besides that a great place to stay

Unfortunately we picked the wrong time with it being motorcycle week the overall noise was
Pros:

The air conditioner in the room it equaled the motorcycle noise from the street. Yes there was a beach. Not crazy with the balcony set up was afraid to step out.
The coffee was hot best part.
