A good time was had by all.
Pros:

The location was great.It was near shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the coffee was great! The staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a samsung tv and we couldn't get the football game however the staff said they would give us another room with a different tv, but we declined. Loved that the staff was so accomodating

Great hotel but limited parking only available through to your check out and not beyond.
Pros:

Great room. Nice location. We were very impressed with Charlotte. What a beautiful city.

Cons:

Mixed information on paid parking. Web page had set rate per day, but even though we arrived after 8 pm, we were told we could not use the hotel parking lot until the following late afternoon, so that we could do a leisurely bike ride from our hotel. We were willing to pay for another day, but apparently the spots are only available for guests through to their check out time. I wish that had been clearer on the description of the parking. Street parking in that area is limited to max of 2 hours (several blocks out 4 hour limit), before you need to move your vehicle to another zone. Fortunately we found parking by the bike trail we used so that we still had a great day. But might need to stay farther out of the downtown core if we do another quick visit and want the full day to explore without worrying about where to park the car.
