The Norwegian America Line’s venerable headquarters opened their doors in 1919. With an old building comes responsibility with maintenance and rehabilitation, that is why we are now doing rehabilitation on our roof and facade. The rehabilitation will continue until July 2023, and there might be some noise during the daytime. All outlets and services are still open as normal. We apologize for any inconveniences.

They have thought of everything. Very well curated rooms. It is perfectly located for getting around Oslo. The dinner in the restaurant and breakfast were great.
Our shower blocked and flooded the room and the light system is fiddly, especially when my bedside lamp needed a new bulb.
We loved the hotel. Great location for getting around Oslo on foot and very close to central station. We booked a deluxe king bed room and it was a great size. Loved the bathroom.
We weren’t advised of the construction happening next door until we were settled in our room, via a small notecard on the desk. As we arrived in the evening we didn’t hear the noise until it started early in the morning and didn’t see the scope of the work being done until we ventured out the next day. This is a major new construction and will be ongoing for quite some time. Why the hotel put us in a room on a low floor and right against the wall of the hammering noise is beyond belief. Why would you not attempt to place your guests away from that end of the hotel, especially when staying during the week. Very disappointing.

It was amazing! I used the gym, they had everything you would need. The breakfast was perfect, and so much was included. The room was beautiful and clean, the bathroom was big and luxurious! Would love to stay again!

Great location. Excellent breakfast. Fitness room very good, if a little dark and dated. Staff was friendly, professional, always very helpful.
Given the heat wave, we of course would have liked air conditioning. We were grateful for the fan.
Our room was quite noisy, facing the Tiger area. During booking, it would be good to know that a superior room faces that noisy area.
