Pros:

Location perfect for skiing with the bonus of regular free shuttles to and from the base stations. Free shuttle to station at the end of our trip too!

Cons:

Breakfast had few western cooked options but that is a minor point - all very tasty 👍

Lovely accommodations - so close to skiing, great atmosphere and cute town
Pros:

The location was amazing - You can walk to the Kitanomie gondola base, Rhythm board shop for rentals, and many restaurants in the area. The on site restaurant was great for daily breakfast and dinners; loved the onsite baths - always very clean and quiet; on site laundry was helpful; building was very quiet and calm; the wine tasting was a lovely perk, and a delicious treat. The staff was always super helpful and accommodating.

Cons:

Like some accomodations in Japan, the beds were super firm. I personally like a softer mattress, but after requesting more pillows, was able to get a little more comfortable. Additionally, in room storage was tough, we had 3 people and it was really crammed. While there is a gear storage room, I wish there had been some options for better storage within the room.

Excellent ski hotel with very comfortable facilities
Pros:

Really lovely accommodation with fabulous breakfast, helpful staff. They helped us book some restaurants and this was super helpful as was busy in Jan and bookings were required. For a family of 4, we needed two rooms and they put us opposite each other so was easy to knock on the doors etc. This was appreciated.

Dinner at the hotel was good and nice to have the option to eat in. Onsen was small but perfect to relax in post skiing. Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

Cons:

It would have been good to have a couple more shuttles to/from the lifts. We did appreciate the drop off / pickups allowing us to start /end at different sides of the mountain. Also a shuttle to town was available in the evenings. Can book Uber or a taxi but they often took a while.

The only real criticism was that they played a single tune on repeat the whole stay. With 6 nights, every meal or visit downstairs to the lounge area or reception, it became humorous as we tried to ‘guess’ the next song they would play. We heard other guests mentioning the one song they too so we weren’t the only ones to notice.

Perhaps a whole playlist could be put together for some variety.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I truly enjoyed my stay once again.

The room was beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained. Everything felt just right, and the overall experience was smooth and pleasant.

Amenities such as Onsen, Breakfast very delicious and large selection adults especially enjoyed, Comfortable well appointed rooms with great amenities, Shuttle Bus to Ski Area, Ski Locker Room, Free wine tasting, free laundry machines.

Cons:

To cater for children Breakfast could include some oats such as porridge or oatmeal, larger bread such as sliced white bread and peanut butter spread.

Pros:

Really nice and spacious rooms with a great public bath. Staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. An amazing breakfast and great amenities throughout. The separate washer and dryer were also great. The hotel also offered a really helpful shuttle service to the station and a good sized ski locker room.

Cons:

The ski locker/boot room could be better organised and set up.
