We liked everything about the hotel. Our room was a suite and was well equipped. The food was of a high standard and well presented .All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful and hotel well positioned for touring the area
Nothing we didn't like
Fantastically friendly and helpful staff, great location.
Great location, lovely staff, beautiful room
Very small car park
Friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast range good.
Car park! Northumbrian breakfast a bit odd with hash browns but fruit bowl and eggs benny very good.
Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room. Added bonus - fresh milk for tea/coffee in room. Good food.
The staff are lovely and the location is perfect, right in the centre of Warkworth. The breakfast was good, with plenty of choices. Tea and coffee were provided in the room but for the price it would have been nice to have coffee bags or a coffee machine instead of sachets of instant coffee. The en-suite shower room was clean and the shower cubicle was very roomy. Car park on site and free parking in the village car park near the hotel.
The pillows were rather flat, though overall the bed was comfortable. It's a nice hotel but a bit pricey.
The breakfast was amazing lovely
We liked everything. The room was lovely. The bed was really comfortable. Most of all the staff were professional, efficient, helpful and very friendly. This is a beautiful hotel.
A great breakfast selection
The road noise, which ment I woke up at 8am each morning. Not the best on a weekend.
Excellent food road a bit noisy would ask for rear facing room in future
Road noise
The room was spacious and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The hotel closes at 22 pm including the bar during quiet times and the front door is locked so you need to come in through the back door which on a Saturday night is a little disappointing.
Excellent breakfast and evening meal, really lovely staff.
All good
From the moment of walking through the door, the staff were absolutely fantastic, the hotel itself was fabulous, the evening food was fantastic as was the breakfast, Will be back very soon. Brilliant
Nothing
SATISFACTORY BREAKFAST WE BOOKED ELSEWHERE FOR DINNER AS WE HAD BEEN TOLD BY FRIENDS THAT THE FOOD IN THE EVENING WAS NOT GREAT!
The location was perfect. The food was lovely. The building is fabulous.
Decor perhaps a little tired. There is very little parking at the hotel. We parked in the main village car park which was ok out of season, however I wonder where you would park in high season.
Beautiful old building. Pretty decor and bedding in bedrooms.
Occasionally very loud traffic. Not hotel’s fault!
Location was beautiful, food was good, and we enjoyed our two night stay, it was comfortable.
Hotel was a little tired looking and needs a refit.
Everything was very good, from accommodation, food and friendly staff, even bacon for our dog at breakfast time. Location is very good for dog walking, handy for beach walks, amongst other walks round the town, and all neighbouring pubs are dog friendly
There was an issue with our toilet flushing but didn't spoil our stay
