We live 180 miles away from venue
Bed was perfect, so comfy
Quiet room overlooking the main street, expected more noise from street and pub customers on a Saturday night.

Comfortable, slightly eccentric pub hotel.
Pros:

Excellent pub atmosphere with very good beer and interesting food. Comfortable room with eccentric furry decor. Historic building with interesting ramifications, sympathetically renovated. Staff - all charming young women!

Cons:

It is way off our usual beaten track so unlikely to stay again.

Looking forward to the next stay.
Pros:

Love this place and always look forward to a return.
Dinner was excellent with good choices on the menu, and with a wine list to match.
Breakfast also had a good selection of choices with quality ingredients.
The hotel sits in the middle of the village with all the local shops very close by.

Cons:

Nothing.

Great for a cosy overnight stop off!
Pros:

It was nice to be central for easy access to local areas. Also convenient to have the pub food downstairs. The staff were extremely accommodating and dog friendly which is a massive attraction. We were able to sit in a dining room which was empty, so made our special night more VIP and nice and private from the crowded bar.

Cons:

It’s on the main street, there is no private car park or garden for the dogs comfort breaks late at night and early morning.
The room we were given had an overpowering odour of dampness, originating from the en-suite bathroom and the shower head was blocked with scale so the water flow was poor.
Again the room we were given was right next to a dining room and in the entrance, we didn’t mind but it felt so weird lying in bed next to people eating just through the wall and at the top of the stairs with the coming and going right outside the door.
WiFi was non existent, they tried to reboot it a few times but there was no service and the TV was small and just had basic channels so couldn’t use.
