Sheraton Kauai Resort Villas

The check-in was smooth and friendly, all the staff (as per usual in Hawaii) are amazing, and the grounds and location were wonderful. Lots of space on property, lots to do, even at adjacent properties. Pool area is great, albeit a touch small for the size of the property. Beaches are amazing. Bar and dining attached to the pool was nice, of course as expected a touch pricey.

I was slightly disappointed in the rooms though. If someone blindfolded you and placed noise cancelling earphones on you and led you to your room, then revealed the room, you'd think you were at some Hampton Inn or something. It was just mid. Beds were comfortable, but it seemed dark and soul less. Especially the bathroom. They could at least reno the bath area, chuck the tub and put a nice glass standing shower. Retile with something not from the 90s.

Overall a great stay though! A bit pricey for what you get room-wise, but it's Hawaii. What can I say.

The Sheraton Kauai Resort is very nice and very expensive. If you have lots of money, it's the place to go in Poipu.

The room, staff, and facilities were beautiful! Our kitchenette was fully stocked, and having a washer/dryer in the room is a huge win.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Sheraton. If you're visiting Kauai, I highly recommend staying in the Poipu area. It's conveniently located for exploring the rest of the island, offers plenty of nearby dining options, and tends to be much drier than many other parts of Kauai. My wife and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary, and the staff left a nice card and a lei arrangement in our room upon arrival. The elite breakfast options were fairly basic but still good, and our room had plenty of space. Parking was free, and we never had any difficulty finding a spot. If I were to stay here again, the only change I would make would be to request a room that does not connect to another room. The guests next door were not being unusually loud, but sound carried easily through the connecting door at times, making it seem as though they were in our room, and we could hear much of their conversation clearly. Other than that, we had no issues!

My wife and I celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary at this incredible resort at the end of January, and although this review is long overdue, the experience was so memorable that it’s still top of mind months later!

From the moment we started planning our trip to the day we checked out, everything exceeded our expectations. Before we even arrived, Alyssa from the concierge team went above and beyond to make sure our anniversary getaway would be special. Thank you, Alyssa, for helping set the stage for such an unforgettable stay!

When we opened the door to our room, we were absolutely speechless. The ocean view upgrade was beyond anything we could have imagined—thank you! The view was truly breathtaking. As beautiful as the photos online are, they simply don’t do it justice. Seeing it in person is a completely different experience. In fact, we watched whales breaching from our balcony every single day—a once-in-a-lifetime experience we’ll never forget.

After settling in, we headed straight to the pool bar, where we were greeted by Ben. His warmth, hospitality, and friendly personality immediately made us feel welcome. Thank you, Ben! It was such a pleasure running into you throughout our stay, and you truly helped make the trip even more special.

What stood out most was the exceptional staff. Every interaction left us feeling genuinely cared for, and it was clear that everyone took pride in creating memorable experiences for guests. We felt spoiled, celebrated, and completely at home from beginning to end.

Thank you to the entire team for making our anniversary unforgettable. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Location was good

One od the best locations on the island, it has beach front and , and one mile down is monk turtles and turtles at Poipu Beach. The surf though comes in right at shoreline , so boogie boarding was not like California catching a wave 3-5 feet alittle out. I though the waves were Hugh in Hawaii, but not here like 2-3 feet,,,too much breaking right at shore line,,,kinda of dangerous rip tides to even for adults to get back to shore. Rooms that are ocean front to the right of the pool area located two buildings over are the best and are quiet . The room was clean overall, the air conditioning sounded weird at times,,maybe time to change it it ,,,above I could hear a few times room hot water make high pitched sound on next floor above. But, balcony right at oceanfront , quiet overall, beds comfortable , and walking distance to pool and beach. Their activities were free for most of the time. You can make bead bracelets, Lei, paint, do yoga, etc ......Lava Restaurant , I ate 2x , their food is just ok, if you're hungry and don't want to go offsite. One night ,I had pork ribs and potato salad that was pretty decent. The next morning my sister and I had 2 pancakes ,some yogurt, juice , and fruit. The bill was 55.00 which is total rip off. The hotel staff cleaning rooms works hard and the front desk was nice. I would recommend it for location .

The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. Despite our late arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated.

Another thoughtful touch was the refresh room available after check-out, where guests can take a shower and change before continuing their journey. A very convenient feature that made our departure much more comfortable.

The property is beautiful. The landscaping is beautiful. Loved the lei making class, Tammy was great!

Wunderschöne Anlage, unglaublich gepflegt, bestens ausgestattete Apartments, viele Services und Annehmlichkeiten (Beachtowels, zwei Fitness-Bereiche, zwei Pools, mehrere Gas-Grill uvm.), perfekte Lage, um sowohl Strände als auch Shopping und Gastro in der Umgebung zu erleben - alles zu Fuß. Und sehr zuvorkommende und sympathische Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen.
Auch die Bucht vor dem Hotel ist großartig. Das dazugehörige Restaurant Rum Fire überzeugt auch auf ganzer Linie.

Honestly-everything! It is on the best beach, our villa was nicely laid out and so great to have a kitchen, staff was incredible with daily bed making and tidying and the pools and amenities were fabulous! Loved morning yoga on the beach every day! I wasn’t really sure what to expect with the resort and villas layout but it worked out great. It’s all one big open property and you can go and use anything. We loved the chill vibe of the villas pool and the resort pool was great for people watching:) Beds were very comfy and blackout curtains in both bedroom and living room were perfect. Kind staff and just a wonderful place to stay!

La habitación frente al mar, muy amplia y silenciosa. Primero nos dieron una frente a la piscina y solicitamos un cambio y nos dieron una frente al mar. Muy buena predisposición. Los parques alrededor muy bien cuidados. La playa no es perfecta pero vale la pena. La piscina muy buena y el jacuzzi con agua caliente ideal para el final del día

Beautiful resort with access to beach. Comfortable rooms that can accommodate 6 adults.

The layout and amenities inside the room were really well thought out. The bed was very comfortable. Pillows could have been better.
