Very disappointed. Primary problem was the mold and mildew in the shower and bathroom. The sloppy calking around the floor tile and grouting were full of mold and mildew. My wife is highly allergic and this felt more like a Motel 6 level of cleanliness and quality. Even after bringing it to hotel staff attention twice, it was not resolved or cleaned properly. The room A/C systems are poorly maintained and were either freezing or the room was covered in condensation. No ventilation for steam in the shower either. Dirty floors, hair and soap residue in the shower made it clear it wasn’t being cleaned often. The condition of the flooring, carpets and even elevators provided further disappointment as this facility was no where near the level expected for a Westin property. It felt more like the Westin took over a foreclosure property and just put up a new sign out front. We will not be staying here again.
German provided truly exceptional valet service. He was professional, courteous, and attentive from the moment we arrived. His warm attitude, efficiency, and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless and welcoming. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled perfectly, and his dedication to outstanding service was evident throughout. German is a true asset, and his excellent service made a lasting impression. Thank you, German!
Excellent experience. Great event space. Restaurant was fabulous for drinks after. Aly at the valet was super helpful for our FLITE Center event. And very nice. Alex was great too. Thank you all.
Muy costoso para el servicio que prestan
The valet staff was excellent
From Helen at check in to Tyrequ on check out, all the employees were putting out hospitality vibes. Stay was great and clean. The resort fee is stiff for points stay was only downside
Great experience. Hotel was wonderful Jasmine at front desk was above and beyond great. Really exceptional customer service. Aly and Alex and Rita also really nice and on top of it. Appreciate them all for an outstanding experience.
On the beach
Older hotel with remodeling
Wasn't impressed with the room and to many additional fees. Valet being mandatory wasn't expected
Staying at the Westin was a wonderful experience. The staff, every single one of them, were especially nice and accommodating. Jocelyn who helped us with our bags to our room and Ty from the front desk went above and beyond. Thank you for making our much-needed getaway one of the best!
This hotel seemed completely outdated. For the prices per night I was completely disappointed. The beach area takes your chairs away at 5pm when the sun isn’t even down yet and the beach bar closes. Another issue I had was the rooms were extremely loud and thin walls. Anytime a door shut it sounded like a slam. The biggest issue however was the fact that smells drifted into my room from ajoining rooms. So imagine relaxing on your bed and smelling someones poop from next door… just do better.
Aly provide me an excellent service! 5 stars
Amazing experience all the hotel staff is wonderful and so helpful and accommodating. Storme is something else entirely; goes over and beyond for everyone that walks by. Always eager to offer assistance and help in any way that is needed. Wow! The customer service skills Storme has is nothing that can be taught. This is something that is within the person 100%!!!
We were traveling as a family and booked 2 oceanfront rooms. We were able to get connecting rooms in the south tower on the 5th floor. When we went into one room, we smelled a small chemical smell, and then we went into the second room and it was very strong. We thought we would air it out as we were planning to be out for the afternoon. When we returned the smell was still very strong and we could actually taste chemicals from breathing it. We started to think it may have been bug spray. I called the hotel and asked for a new room. They were quite full. The manager on duty, I believe her name was Kathy, was extremely helpful. She suggested a few options that I didn't care for, and in the end came up with a solution to put us in a suite with 2 rollaways in the large living room to accommodate our teens. At first we weren't sure how well that would work for our family, so she was flexible and accommodating, and told us we could try it the first night and decide to stay or move back to connecting rooms the next day. We ended up staying in the suite and were quite happy there. A big thank you to Kathy for making sure we got a solution we were happy with, it really made a difference in the enjoyment of our trip and left us with a very favorable impression of the hotel. The only other hiccup is that we had a leak one morning, possibly from the AC. We called it in and when we returned to our room several hours later, it was completely fixed. The location of the hotel is great. Walkable to restaurants and CVS. We enjoyed dining at Lona Cocina. Also, for Marriott Bonvoy members who get free breakfast, they give you a sit down breakfast for 2. I have attached the menu - each person can choose 1 option, plus coffee and juice. All in all, a great stay, appreciate the responsiveness of the hotel.

The pool area is very nice. Pedro is incredibly kind. He treated everyone with respect and was constantly engaged with the guests.
Beach area is nice with two chairs included. Pedro will give you towels for pool and beach which is perfect.
I will preface this by saying that I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels due to the requirements of my career from the low end (Hampton Inns, etc) to Ritz Carlton's but mostly Hiltons, Hyatts and Marriotts and their mid- to upper level offerings. I’ve always put Westins a bit above those but, sadly, not this one. We specifically booked this property over others right there up and down the beach simply because it was a Westin.
While the location right at (not on, it’s across the street) the beach is great and they have their own elevated walkway across the road and elevator down to the beach, the physical property itself is certainly not up to Westin standards by any means.
The staff, however, is well trained and very accommodating. The lobby and reception areas are pretty good but nothing exceptional. The restaurant where we had breakfast is reasonably good and overlooks the beach and road so there is some traffic noise which is to be expected. Breakfast was good but the staff seemed overwhelmed at times but it was the busy season.
We aren’t much on pools and didn’t and wouldn’t frequent this one as at the time, it was really crowded and noisy. The whole pool area seemed very dated to us.
What was very disappointing, especially for a Westin, was the room…….small by today’s standards which is OK which the decor and amenities could make up for but not in this case. The furniture looked to be twenty years old, banged up and out of date. The bathroom was also small and had a slated door so it was noisy. Our room was way below even Marriott/Hilton standards and, frankly, I’m surprised that Westin would put its name on this property. Frankly, we were glad to have only booked two nights here before moving on.
