The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

Fantastic experience - perfect room, relaxing spa experience and great pool drinks. Everyone was kind and helpful but special shoutout to Herson who remembered details about our group and worked to make our stay fantastic. We’ll be back!

Ewwwwww there was some gross stain on the streets on one of the double beds. The rooms are dated and the check in process is a mess. But…. The beach yoga was great!

Melva was an absolutely terrific concierge and had a quintessential impact on my girlfriend's birthday experience here at the Westin. She was very accommodating with birthday surprises for my girlfriend, very helpful and knowledgeable of both local establishments around the hotel, hotel services that highly increased the quality of our stay here at the Westin. Melva made our stay here very warm, exciting, and easy, as if we were staying with family. The bell hop attendant shock was also very warm and accommodating with his recommendations for great local restaurants to try out, and his knowledge and personal experience of the hotel throughout his years of tenure here. He brung our bags all the way over to the 2nd tower, entering several elevators and even crossing a sky bridge to assist us to our room in the south tower. The spa experience was incredible. My masseuse, Andrea, and my girlfriend's masseuse, Antonio, were incredibly skilled and efficient in their movements throughout the massage; each transition into the next massage position by Andrea was unbelievably smooth and delightful especially upon the heated bed provided by the spa. The complimentary snacks, spa attire, and beverages, including the cup of wine, were all a lovely touch which heightened the experience for us as well. The valet was very quick and precise in the retrieval and placement of our car whenever we were heading out from or returning to the hotel, opening doors for me and my girlfriend which made us feel special. Our stay at the Westin was a true delight and me and my girlfriend both definitely look forward to coming back again. Thank you, truly, to everyone involved in making this stay so memorable for us

From first check in to last check out the staff was impeccable. Ty took care of us before we even arrived and was available to coordinate us coming in and upgrades available to us. The hotel itself is wonderful and we ended up dining at the attached restaurant at least once a day due to how incredible to food the was. The hotel is within walking distance to anything you would need and beach access was a breeze. Have to highlight both Ty and Melva for their continued assistance and excellence throughout our stay. Melva was such a personable and thoughtful individual who made a difference through our stay. Her and Ty give the human connection we all so desperately need more of. Thank you both and the Marriott/Westin team for an amazing experience from start to finish!

Westin Fort lauderdale beach is a great location with the beautiful beach, pool and restaurant right there.
We were warmly welcomed by David upon arrival who answered many questions regarding what to see and do, best restaurants in area (Favorite happened to be right at the Westin for Breakfast as well as Dinner....Happy Hour too!!).
Water taxi Whistle stop is just a couple blocks away....very convenient.

Can’t say enough about Melva at the front desk—my flight was cancelled and she made everything so easy and come back together from a stressful situation.

I had an extremely disappointing and troubling experience at this hotel. I visited Lona at the end of November, and during my meal, my car was stolen directly from the front drive. The valet stand was unattended, and there was an unsecured box of valet tickets left out in the open. A man who did not work for the hotel took a ticket from the box and stole my vehicle.

The box was removed later that same day, yet since then, the valet team has repeatedly refused to acknowledge me or respond to my insurance company despite multiple attempts. If the hotel maintains that they are not liable, then they should have no issue placing the unattended valet ticket box back where it was.

It is now nearly February, and I still have no resolution. Security and bar management also failed to intervene, even after bartenders reported concerns about the individual who had been loitering in the restaurant and front drive area.

Overall, the service and handling of this situation have been unacceptable.

Aly at Valet was excellent and was the one that made the trip ever so enjoyable. Highly recommend the facility entirely based on how he turned a business trip to a pleasure. Kindness couple with attention to detail to make sure all my needs were met. Not excited about another work trip but with Aly’s customer experience I would highly recommend.

We always stay at the Westin. Mainly, due to Storme and crew. Every time we visit, he takes such great care of us. We genuinely look forward to seeing him every time we land in Ft Lauderdale.

We were very disappointed with our stay. We chose this Westin Hotel specifically for its beautiful oceanfront pool and planned to spend the majority of our time there. However, upon check-in, we were informed that multiple private events were scheduled that would prevent regular guests from using the pool. Had we known that the hotel routinely restricts guest access to its amenities in order to sell them to third parties, we would not have booked this property. This was a significant misrepresentation of the experience we expected and greatly impacted our stay.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times! The staff is very professional and accommodating. I’m usually able to check in early and the rooms are always very clean. I will be returning soon!
