Big property in the middle of the town. Service and staff were top notch and property was spotless. There was a water outage while we were there. Food quality can be improved.

the resort is amazing ! Loved the garden and the pools ,so well maintained and relaxing. I used the spa and it was great, I was a bit harassed by a worker at the spa for tip while leaving the spa and it did make me uncomfortable and ruined the zen I was feeling after my lovely massage. I left a small item in the room . I called and I was told nothing was found but then they called me back the same day to say they found it which is a wonderful news. They said they will mail it to me and now we are waiting to get a shipping cost rate . I was a bit surprised they will be charging me for shipping a small item especially that it is a5 star hotel ! but I will be happy to receive it so I am keeping my finger crossed - Other than that, beautiful spa, Garen , pool and the breakfast is delicious !! the staff also very nice.

We liked the location, and common spaces, of the facility. We found the staff professional and courteous.
We equated the dinner buffet with an undergrad cafeteria from the 1990s. Not good.
The rooms were so-so - clean and competent but nothing special.
Overall, the property felt under-invested in the ways that one might tactically underinvest where one expects 90+% of its customers to only ever visit one time for one night.
The staff appears to be tired of tourists. Service was really bad.

We recently stayed at ITC Mughal in Agra for 2 nights with our large family—14 members including infants, children, and elderly. While the property itself has a good reputation and the service was decent by local standards, our overall experience had several shortcomings that need attention, especially for a hotel positioned as a 5-star.
Mini Bar Setup: Out of 5 rooms, only 2 had functional mini bars, yet we were charged for 3. This was disappointing and should not happen in a premium hotel.
Room Essentials: Despite knowing that each room housed more than 2 people (including children), the housekeeping staff didn’t proactively provide extra towels or toilet paper. We had to keep requesting these items repeatedly.
Playroom Condition: The play area was in poor condition—most toys were dirty, and the entire space was not maintained at all. For families with children, this was a major letdown.
Room Keys: Each room was given only one key card, which caused inconvenience for couples and families coming and going at different times. Providing two keys per room is a basic expectation and should be standard.
To their credit, the staff were polite and tried their best within limitations, and we appreciate that. However, ITC Mughal needs significant improvements in operations and attention to guest needs to truly offer a luxury experience. Guests are willing to pay for quality—but only when service standards match expectations.
