Handy location
Pros:

Continently located close to the city centre. Mostly the staff were very helpful.

Cons:

I have been coping with a sore back and I found that the bed in my room wasn’t very comfortable. Far too soft and I was rolling out of the bed.

COMFORTABLE AND LOCATION
Pros:

THE ROOM AND THE BED - THE BED WAS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE AND LARGE WITH LOTS OF ROOM AND COMFY PILLOWS.

Cons:

Booked a 'superior' room. The facilities in this room do not match what is advertised on booking.com.
[eg no minibar - ordinarily no issue but when arriving after 11 pm at night it was, no kettle in room, wifi did not work at all in the room]. Is a basic room only, at $400/night was not great value.
The in-room dining options after hours are extremely limited.
Has great bones but just needs to lift its game in these areas.

The location

Cons:

The toilet was blocked and we had to use the WC gym facilities. We called reception twice during the night to report said plumbing issue but no one absented. The duty manager the next morning was disinterested in our situation.

Service was lovely

Cons:

Room was stuffy on arrival with no airflow. Tried to adjust however minimal change which meant warm through the night which kept me up.
Also parking very difficult. Happy to pay but limited spots given height restriction of 1.95m. Spots were also tiny.

Staff were excellent. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Made the experience much better

Cons:

I know the hotel is old/er but updating bathrooms would be a good idea. Having to climb over the side of a bath to shower is not optimal as we age. I found it difficult to sort the shower.
