Pros:

Lovely dinner. Stefano manager was delightful.

Cons:

Breakfast the worst !! Very little fruit, no proper toaster, no plain sugar free yogurt. Only the pre made powder scrambled eggs.
Only meat/cheese. Cereals were full of sugar. Unhealthy

Solidny hotel, ale przydałby się remont pokojów
Pros:

Hotel nawet nieco lepszy niż się spodziewałem po recenzjach - to taki "solidny komfort z lat 80-tych". Dużo miejsca w lobby, restauracji czy (nawet) na sympatycznym basenie. Podziemny parking (niestety, płatny dodatkowo) to w tej lokalizacji ogromny plus, bo na okolicznych ulicach linie miejsc są niebieskie, a autobusów jest niewiele. Nasz pokój wyglądał na lekko zużyty, ale np. łazienka była przestronna i wygodna, a loggia miała widok na morze (hotel jest w pierwszej linii zabudowy).

Cons:

Największy minus to hałasy, które w naszym pokoju dobiegały z rur albo z systemu klimatyzacji (do końca nie wiem) - były to dziwaczne stuki albo szumy. Na szczęście nie były bardzo głośne i nie przeszkadzały we śnie, ale to jednak trochę wstyd. Oczywiście, mógł to być jednostkowy przypadek.

Hotel de 4* con servicios y limpieza de 2*
Pros:

El desayuno era muy completo y equilibrado.
El restaurante también es muy bueno.
La piscina muy tranquila y agradable.

Cons:

La limpieza es muy justita, sobre todo en el baño. Un dia dejamos una nota en italiano para que nos rellenaran el bote del acoindicionador, tiraron la nota y no lo rellenaron.
El primer día, nos informaron de que el parking era de pago, pero nosotros al hacer la reserva teníamos el parking incluido, tuvimos que pelearlo, pero finalmente no nos lo cobraron...son 18 €/día y, fuera del hotel el aparcamiento es de pago.

Ihan kiva hotelli muutamaksi yöksi, en useita öitä viettäisi välttämättä.
Pros:

Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Kiva aamupala. Huoneet siistit, erityisesti kylpyhuoneet jotka oli remontoitu. Kiva hotelli sisältä päin, vaikka aikaa nähnytkin. Kahvi oli aamupalalla todella hyvää.

Cons:

Uima-allas aukeaa vasta klo 10. Lasten kanssa ei oikein toimiva kellonaika. Aika pieni uima-allas. Huoneissa kokolattiamatto on vaihtoa vailla, hieman epäsiisti jo. Huoneiden lakanat myös semmoiset irralliset, ei pussilakanat. Hieman ällöttävää, kun yön aikana peitto tulee väkisin esille lakanasta. Toki, jos tietäisi että peitto käy myös aina pesussa jokaisen asukkaan jälkeen, niin sitten tämä ok.

Holiday in Sicily
Pros:

I love, love Sicily. Catania is an old town with lots of great places to see. I love old architecture, especially churches. This area where the hotel is located is near the water, so there's bars and restaurants nearby, but honestly the hotel has a pretty decent restaurant and I ate there maybe 2-3x during my 4 night stay. Catania proper has cheap dining for 10 euro plus, so that was also wonderful.

Hotel Parking is good, other than that we did a lot of traveling since it's a pretty big island and we explored all sides of it during our trip. Driving through Sicily is tough so be mindful to not rent a large car. The streets are super narrow. However, this one is the closest Marriott to our airport.

Location is great because it's less than an hour from Mt Etna, Syracuse, the airport.

We did not have a water view and I was Platinum Member for Marriott so I was disappointed with that, but they said they will be full during part of our stay. Also, there were a few hours of no electricity and that happened twice. I liked the floor plan since it's an easy stair climb up and down in case you don't want to wait for the elevator.

The floor and lobby walls were adorned with nice art, and to get in and out of the hotel is fairly easy. The furnishings are so-so, and besides the bars and restaurants lining up the main road, there is nothing else. I would likely choose the Ortigia Marriott next time.
