Very nice hotel, clean and very quiet surrounds.
Pros:

An excellent stay here for a week while I explored Essen, Dortmund and Duisburg. The hotel is perfectly located on the edge of a large park with with a small lake and fountain. It is also by a metro station 2 stops from the main train station or a 12 minute pleasant walk. A nice spacious lobby for checkin and very friendly staff at check in. The room was very good, it was quite a spacious room with a nice sized bathroom. Everything in the room was very clean. The club lounge is currently in the restaurant for breakfast and for dinner and they offer a nice selection although disappointingly in my 7 nights therewere German dishes served. Although you can irder some from the restaurants menu to eat in the lounge, I did eat out a couple of nights so I coudl try typical German dishes. The staff were excellent, and especially bringing out some schwip schwap when asked. The breakfast in the hotel is very nice, excellent selection and high quality, but I wish they cooked eggs to order like the Marriott in Cologne does.
The staff overall were excellent at the hotel and were genuinely friendly and helpful. This is definitely a hotel I would stay at again. In fact as im writing this ive already got my next stayed booked
