Es war alles sehr nett und professionel

Cons:

Wir waren 2 Ehepaare, Freunde aus der Schulzeit.
Wir wollten dasMuseum sehen und die Oper über Schweden.
Wir mussten uns über nichts ärgern und konnten uns nur freuen.
Was will man mehr.

Das Sheraton Essen ist in die Jahre gekommen und sollte dringend "erneuert" werden.
Pros:

Das Sheraton hat etliche Jahre auf "dem Buckel" und die Frage bleibt, wann ist das Zimmer im 6. Stock letztmals renoviert worden? Hier wäre absolutes Verbesserungspotential

Cons:

1) Starker Geräuschpegel durch "zufallende" Zimmertüren --> Krachmacher auch während Schlafenszeit!
2) Lichtausstattung im Badezimmer - insbesondere am ausgelierten Vergrößerungsspiegel, dessen Reperatur dringend wünschenswert wäre
3) Licht für und am Vergrößerungsspiegel existiert nicht, was ein grundsätzliches Problem darstellt
4) Nicht sichtbare Teekannen (sind "versteckt" im Schrank)
5) Fehlender brauner Zucker für Teegenuß (!), dafür aber verklebter und nicht aufgefüllter Kandiszucker am Teestand

Très bon séjour à l'exception du diner.
Pros:

Les chambres sont calmes, agréables avec un couchage de bonne qualité.
Les petits déjeuners sont excellents: beaucoup de choix, produits de qualité.

Cons:

Le buffet proposé au dîner n'est pas à la hauteur de l'établissement:peu de choix, nourriture très basique et prix élevé.

The only good point was that it is next to the Philharmonie in Essen.

Cons:

The room has been really unpleasant since it stuck after cigarette smoke… the restaurant closed later in evening and even the bar closed (?)
