I was genuinely surprised by the generous room size, large bathrooms, very comfortable beds, and very kind and attentive staff (check in, breakfast and restaurant). One evening, I decided to have a simple dinner at the hotel restaurant, and it turned out to be a great choice: delicious food, very friendly staff, a reasonable menu selection, and beautifully presented dishes.

Cons:

A couple of minor drawbacks: the hotel can be a bit noisy, mainly due to older, loud lifts and some doors that don’t close quietly, and the gym is quite small and feels cramped. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs.

Frühstück war sehr gut, Lage auch, da nicht weit vom Hauptbahnhof. An der Rezeption gab es sogar einen Kamm kostenlos dazu, da ich meinen vergessen hatte.

Cons:

Man merkt ein wenig, dass die Ausstattung etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.

Die Lage zur Philharmonie, die Bar und das Frühstück sind hervorragend.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war zum Schlafen ungeeignet: sehr laute, durchdringende Fahrstuhlgeräusche die ganze Nacht, nicht abstellbare Lichtquellen hinter dem Fernseher, dauerhaft grell blinkender Feuermelder, ein circa 1 cm breiter Türschlitz der Licht vom Flur einlässt. Schlafbrille und Ohrenstöpsel wären erforderlich gewesen.
