Nothing not to like
The breakfast was definitely a highlight — good quality and a nice selection. Special mention to the middle-aged lady with the ponytail at breakfast, whose warm and attentive service really stood out. She was genuinely helpful and made the experience much more pleasant. Thanks again for the local fruit plate.
The rooms are very tiny, which was disappointing.
The check-in and check-out experience with Rachel (the young lady with tattoos) also needs significant improvement. Her attitude and level of service did not meet the standard I would expect from a hotel of this category. There is clearly room for improvement in guest interaction and overall professionalism.
The Indian restaurant is considerably overpriced considering the quality, which was only average.
At the poolside bar, we ordered two cakes and waited more than 25 minutes, despite there being virtually nobody else around. What was even more disappointing was that the dirty plates were left there afterwards and nobody came to collect them.
The spa service was also disappointing. I contacted the spa via WhatsApp using the number provided by the hotel. The message was received, but I never received any reply.
Overall, there are some genuinely good aspects, especially the breakfast and the attentive breakfast staff, but the service inconsistencies and several disappointing experiences made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

Vriendelijk personeel, konden lekker wat vroeger inchecken en ook zonder problemen een uurtje later uitchecken. De shuttle is echt een grote plus!
De kamer was niet schoon, we vonden haren in de badkamer en ook insecten achter de gordijnen. Er werd door de receptie niet zoveel aandacht aan besteed. Veel plekken in de kamer kunnen wel een opfrisbeurt krijgen, de badkamer was sowieso wel een beetje oud.
De gym is erg klein, er werd veel gebruik van gemaakt.

Oh yes, just the staff was nice.
Very old and run down. Old carpets, old furniture, old pool, no smart tv, tv in room had terrible reception/ picture, a strong smell of sewerage in hotel surroundings, breakfast buffet was not good either. For the price, it was a very bad experience. I couldn’t wait to leave the country.
Short walk to the centre of city - what there was of it! Free shuttle bus to night market/mall.
Hotel looks tired and was not veryclean, especially the pool area. Room was on front of hotel facing main road and the Malaysien bazaar with music(?) stage2.

staying for one night, so not much explored
Location was within walking distance of many sights in the city centre.
There were limited food options around the area, and the room, though comfortable, had a faulty bidet and air conditioning leaked badly starting day 2.
我们过境是第二天晚上的飞机，在这中转一晚。虽然设施旧了一点，房间很干净，服务很好，特别是当我们退房后，在外面游玩一天回来，出了很多汗浑身黏糊糊，宾馆服务人员给我们找地方冲了个澡。
