Wonderful- will be back!
Pros:

Elite breakfast. Everything absolutely delish and so much choice, lovely surroundings. Vegan raspberry croissant OMG!
Loved the hotel room. Was so quiet. Had a great sleep. Bed huge and comfy. Loved the bathroom. Beautiful view of castle.
Great spa and easy access from our room floor. Also fast lifts! Some hotel lifts are a drag!!!
Staff at breakfast and desk (and spa) wonderful!! Issac (trainee) at checkin and check out- star!
Thanks for the birthday cake and card for my husband. Very nice touch!
Didn’t want to leave! Will stay again.

Amazing stay.
Pros:

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the city centre,. The spa was great with plenty of facilities, towels, flip flops and robes. Our room was beautiful and very spacious. The breakfast was great, buffet style and al carte which was a lovely touch. The staff were the best part though. On arrival they asked the reason for our stay. Our kids had booked this as our Christmas gift and we attended on the weekend of our 18th wedding anniversary, which they congratulated us on. They then sent up some bottles of prosecco and macaroons along with a lovely hand written card for us. We cannot wait to return.

Lovely stay overall and id recommend it to anyone considering a hotel stay in Edinburgh.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast and comfortable bed.
Customer service is also very good.
Location is good, with a lovely view of the castle.

Cons:

Our room overlooked the back of hotel and i was woken by the sound of drilling at 7:45am! (Not great as i had hoped for a long lie)
Ordered a burger from room service menu and requested a few noted ingredients to be left off, which they were, however it arrived covered in mayo (there was no mention of it having mayo on menu so a bit frustrating as if i had known i wouldve requested it was left off - id recommend the menu is updated to include ALL ingredients in the dishes).
I did share this with receptionist who immediately removed it from bill so couldnt fault the customer service.

Devoir payer pour avoir accès au spa, petit déjeuner, parking.
Bref quasiment payer la moitié encore de la chambre pour avoir accès à l’ensemble.
Finition dans les chambres (pas au niveau d’un 5 étoiles)
