The cleanliness overall is good, room is decent. Facility is good.
1) When I first arrived at the hotel, I carried 1 suitcase and a backpack but absolutely 0 staff offered help. 2 receptionists were standing at the door and they immediately looked away when they saw me.
2) When I checked out, I got asked if I used a beer and water in the refrigerator, which I definitely did not. When I said No, they took a picture of the fridge as a proof, and kept asking question. They even asked me if 'my family' used the beer or not, which is impossible and so funny because I was the only one checked in and stayed in that room, so the hotel doesnt even know how many people staying in the room? In the end, even though I did not get charged for the thing I did not use, the staff did not apologize or anything? So it meant that the manager/staff do not even know what they put in the fridge when setting up the room before I arrive and this was a Grand suite. Never meet any situation like this when staying at any 5-stars hotel before. Very disappointed.
This was our second stay at FLC Ha Long, from 1–2 May, in two rooms on the 19th floor. The hotel remains clean, spacious and pleasant, with a relaxing resort atmosphere. The pool view is especially beautiful—one of the best hotel pool views I have experienced in Ha Long.
However, a few service details need improvement. Despite calling in advance about check-out, the front desk only processed it after we came down with the room key cards. Both rooms, booked for two adults, initially had only one bath towel. The additional towels were slightly damp, and the hot water was not warm enough, which was not ideal for a family travelling with a young child.
Overall, FLC Ha Long is still worth considering for its beautiful views, clean environment and spacious grounds. Better front-desk coordination, housekeeping standards and hot-water performance would make the stay much more complete.

Pictures nice, but in reality doesn’t look good
I was genuinely amazed by my stay at FLC Ha Long. My room was huge, beautifully designed, surprisingly affordable, and offered a jaw‑dropping view over the UNESCO World Heritage listed Ha Long Bay - an unforgettable sight to wake up to.
The service was exceptional across the entire property, from the friendly, attentive staff to the impressive food and beverage options. The scale of the hotel is remarkable, featuring a golf course, conference centre, indoor and outdoor pools, and relaxing wellness spaces - everything a traveller could want in one place.
A special mention goes to Vinny, the General Manager, whose outstanding hospitality sets the tone for a truly world‑class team.
I left completely impressed and highly recommend FLC Ha Long to any traveller looking for comfort, value, and a memorable Ha Long experience.

Great location overlooking Halong Bay. Rome was fabulous. Food was excellent as were the staff. Golf course was incredible. Great value for money
